Good - but get the book also

The price to purchase this audiobook is very low, so you've really got nothing to lose even though the format of the book is more geared to the physical book, which has sections where you can write the observations as you go through the exercises each day. The author was excellent, as was the narrator - but I suggest also getting the physical book.

Broken down for the average Joe such as me to understand while keeping the message to its core teachings. Great piece of work. I recommend this to everyone. If everyone followed this the world would be a much better place.

Need direction, discipline, and encouragement?

Loved it! This is a great book to give you an introduction to mussar and to give you the information to make a plan to carry it out. Next step, read Everyday Holiness to carry out the plan and learn more about each midot.

Written version better

This book does not work well being narrated; at least by this narrator. The narrator should’ve announced “week 1, day 1”, and paused before beginning the next day. He just keeps reading, so it’s impossible to know where to stop. I had to go on Amazon and look at the sample of the book to see the format, so I kind of have an idea of when to stop it. Each days reading is very short.

This was a good book. if you're looking for a way to balance the good and not so good qualities about yourself then this would be worth listening to. It's easy to understand and you can work on it for a lifetime.

Least Expensive yet MOST Impactful Book Ever

I'm Jewish, yet didn't know anything about Mussar. That said, how fortunate was I to stumble across it.
ANYONE can apply the wisdom in this book. PLEASE do yourself a favor & not only get it but listen over & over. Once you begin the apply the principles your life will change. Forget all the self-help garbage out there. This is the real-deal.
