Esther Goes in a Surprising Direction

The title tells you what the couple are coming in to talk about, but you'll be surprised where Esther takes the conversation. Insightful in a way I hadn't expected.

Profound

Deeply profound . The vulnerability, the honesty, the willingness for this couple to he be there for each other and above all the compassionate wisdom of Esther. I listened to 9 episodes in less then 24 hours. I cried and laughed with all the couples as I struggle with my own issues . For ever grateful

Probably the weakest in the series

Any additional comments?

This episode, while good, was not great. I enjoyed the others much more. In part it's probably because this is the one I could least relate to. So your mileage may vary.

Another hit from Esther Perel

This episode was very special with a twist on the struggles of gender roles and infertility. I want to share this episode with my friends that are going through this struggle right now. I’m constantly learning from episodes Esther Perel.

Breathtakingly Poignant

This one hit home for me; putting in words many things that I couldn't articulate. By listening in on these sessions, it is as if I'm going through therapy too. Thanks you!

Wonderful pod cast

Every time I listen to Esther work with a couple I learn something that helps me in my own relationship. Even though the topic may have nothing to do with me the issues between couples and how they communicate can usually be applied to any relationship. This episode examines how assumptions can lead to misunderstandings and how being afraid to ask for what you want can lead to resentments and loneliness . Check it out!

This really resonated with me.

I think that this story is one of those which resonated with me the most. A pity that the audio is not optimal. I can hear Esther very well but not the couple.

What a beautiful session...

So touched listening to this session (actually all sessions). Esther Perel has the insight and more importantly her own way to get people open up and look into themselves deeply.... So lucky I found these! Thank you for making these available for us!! Esther is my favourite author... I listen to everything I can find about her work...
