Simplistic story and solutions

Does not address or acknowledge the very real problem of serious mental illness in marriage.

Outstanding. A MUST listen for every Christian Man

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I would recommend this audiobook to a friend because the information in this is book is practically, logically and extremely self sacrificing unto the Lord which reaps much benefits for the man as well as his wife and ANY other relationship this man would be
a part of.

True Blessing

I was totally surprised by the book by Ken. No hype, this book alone has given me new hope in not only my marriage but life in my relationship with God. I’m forever grateful to my friend and brother for guiding me to this teaching from Ken,...

The help I didn't know I needed.

Gonna listen to it at least 100 more times. This book is full of excellent wisdom on becoming closer to Christ, which in turn makes your marriage stronger.

life changing book

My mother gave me this book years ago. I just went through a bad divorce 2 months ago that took over 1.5 years. My wife cheated on me and wanted to leave even though I forgave her and wanted to work on the marriage. I found this book on the shelf and thought it may help me understand some things that went on in my marriage and could possibly help me in the future. Wow! This book convicted me so much, even in the first 1/4 of the book. I had thought I was doing a good job and my heart was to be like Christ, but I didn't imitate Christ to my wife by not being a good listener and hearing her heart and meeting her needs emotionally. I repented and asked her forgiveness and told her I had failed her and I took responsibility for my failures in the marriage. She cried and said she forgave me. I went on reading the book and asked her to point out the areas that I had hurt her. She has yet to tell me, but she asked why I wanted to change now! I do not know if the Lord wants me to bring her back to me or not. I'm not sure I want her back at this point, but I want to be open to what God wants to do. I have two wonderful children with her that I was so blessed to lead to the Lord in January 2017 during our divorce. I want to model Christ to them the best way I can. I have already shared and recommended this book to so many friends because I believe it will change the course of their life and marriage.

Best book out of many i have read

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

yes because Ken goes into the idea and concept of considering your ways thoughts and that is something that i haven't heard to much about. most books give a very general description and Ken has a way of explaining things in a way that is easy for most guy to understand. pride is what will hold you back from.

What other book might you compare Discovering the Mind of a Woman to and why?

none. there is nothing like it. it is in a class of it's own

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

A Man who got it right.

Any additional comments?

best book i ever read. i never came to a true understanding of what it meant to love my wife until i read and listened to this 3-4 times. pride is what holds men back from receiving from ken. our wives and women are not second class citizens. they are equal and deserve the same love and respect.

Read the entire book it will change your marriage.

I have read several books on marriage but nothing clicked until this book. All the other books make sense now. This book will change the entire way you think about your wife. You will automatically treat her different because you will understand marriage and your wife for the first time ever. If your marriage is struggling and you want to save it then you must read this amazing book.

Great book

Our men's ministry read this over a 13 week period. Was a great experience. We actually skyped with Ken a couple of times. Wish I would have read this before or right after getting married.

It's all the mans fault!

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

There is something for everyone in this book. The author goes through a lot of different scenarios and he is bound to touch on an area that you need improvement in. It is worth listening to the entire book to help identify the areas in your life that need improvement.

Any additional comments?

This book identifies the man as the only source of the problem in a marriage. The actions of the woman are a reflection of the man. Some of what he states makes since but there is no compromise or middle ground for the man to stand on. To me, this book does not promote equality in a marriage but instead that a man should be submissive to his wife because that is what is most Christ-like.
