Pretty basic

Good reminders. Nothing new or interesting. Same basic advice with traditional suggestions for health and fitness. It lacked originality. It was odd having a male narrator speak for a girl and say “as a girl” etc.

Short & Sweet

Not revealing secrets but a clear layout on how to make the smaller changes. I think those will stick allowing me to gain confidence and motivation to keep pushing for more and better results.

Not sure what to think

It’s a book that tells you a little bit a couple of ideas but end up not meeting my expectations. I was waiting to receive more examples and more deep information and without noticing it, I ended finishing the book. Definitely there is good content here although I was expecting more.
I have been in audible for a month and I was expecting a female voice rather than a male, since the author is female. I believe it’s something I need to get used to

excellent open ended motivation

This book was an easy quick listen. It outlined the realistic relationship between goals and health: that everyone is different and people need to work on and keep a positive goal oriented attitude to be healthy. and it highlighted that having a healthy lifestyle is needed for long-term health; quick fixes and temporary diets are only short-term fixes and can be detrimental. I wish there were a few specific tips and hints. As someone who tries to eat healthy and exercises daily, it was nice reinforcement, but I am unsure of how helpful it will be for someone that needs a basic understanding of how to be healthier.

Fair

Overall the book does have some good ideas, but nothing groundbreaking. Its short and repetitive. The narrator is male, the author female...just odd to hear the narrator talk in the author's third person (she, her, etc).

Just seems weird with a guy reading

I'd choose a female to read this over a male . Just a little off when he's saying he's a yoga girl, etc.

A Pleasant And Gentle Reminder…

This is a pleasant and gentle reminder of why we want to be in shape and some new tweaks in thought-approach that may just break through a block you did not know you had.

Sometimes, when you seek motivation, you find folks that just yell at you with over-the-top hype. Here, the author tells her story; it is very effective; and very encouraging.

Gives a nice boost of motivation & to the point.

Inspirational without all the fluff. I like what the author said about getting into better health and fitness is inspirational to others. I love that. There are people that are very important in my life that I would like to inspire.
