helped me evaluate my relationship

I've learned a lot and it definitely influenced how I think about things. The narrator's voice is soft and therapeutic for me. This book helped me evaluate my relationship. The examples are realistic and may be an everyday scenarios for some people.

If you are human, you should listen to this book.

If you are human, you should listen to this book. You could be on the receiving end of a codependent relationship, the abuser or even a friend or acquaintance of someone who suffers from a toxic relationship. I think everyone should have a role on how to put a stop on codependence. It's never healthy!

how to say NO

Th biggest thing I learned from this book is how to say NO. It all starts from there. I always say YES even when I want to say NO. This book has greatly impacted my self-esteem and my approach. Enlightening!

Eye opening

Very emotional but helpful eye opening book that has helpful tools. Good tools to apply but can be hard to hear so I’d suggest listening to in multiple sessions

When I listen to this, I hear positive solutions

The approach on how to free someone from abusive, toxic and codependent relationship is realistic and applies to almost everyone. The exercises are reasonable.When I listen to this book, I hear only positive solutions.

I wish I had this when I was younger

Excellent points! I wish I had this when I was younger. I could have prevented those unhealthy relationships I had in the past. I learned a lot now. This is worth sharing to friends who may not be aware that they are suffering from codependent relationships.

helps me focus more on me

I used to think I am a broken and that I don’t have friends whom I can trust and really cares about me the way I care about them. I was most trusting before. This is an eye-opener on how I dealt with people and relationships. This helps me focus more on me.

Life-changing!

This is a life-changing book to listen. The book is worth getting in hard copy too. This is something I'd listen again in the future to see how I improved my relationships with family and friends. The most important lesson I learned is to evaluate myself and put boundaries.
