Publisher's Summary

This week on Car Talk, we have further proof that no one should drive like Tom Magliozzi! Our irate listeners rant about racking up moving violations after following Tom's screwball EZ Pass theory. Never deterred by criticism, Tom plows forward in doling out questionable automotive advice! Should Sam in PA dump maple syrup and two Tums into his fuel tank to guarantee a long engine life? (We repeat: Don't drive like Tom!)

Then, it's off to Montana where Susan has buzzards delivering car parts to her remote home, and Ethan needs help remembering driving directions. All that, plus why Men are from GM and Women are from Ford, this week on Car Talk. [Broadcast Date: September 2, 2011]

good episode

Would you be willing to try another book from Tom Magliozzi, and Ray Magliozzi? Why or why not?

This is not a book! It's a radio show!

But...

The theme of this episode was... DO NOT DRIVE LIKE TOM. ;) You will get pulled over if you do! Very funny as usual.

I especially loved the justification for the puzzler getting another 3 months of vacation.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

It's only 50 minutes long - very easy to listen to the whole thing.
