    Good Perspective

This book was good. Interesting, well taken advice from a biblical perspective. In retrospect, I think I would have liked a hard copy of this book since I am the type a person that likes to highlight and mark books like these to use for future reference. I am sure I will listen to it again.

    Good information and perspective

While the info in this book was good and helped me help others, something just made it hard to listen to. Not sure if it was the reader or the way the book was written. Worth reading, but was just hard to keep reading.

    A need to read book!

I didn't think I'd learn much from this book, as I am in a loveless, on paper only, marriage. But I did learn! just wish I had this book the year it was written.. many years of heartache and pain could have been avoided.

    Needs more concrete bullet points

A lot of vague ideas and stories. Very few specific applicable bullet points. Would love to have some list of do's and don'ts.

A must read for all adults

This is my second time around with this book. I first read it a couple years ago and now listened to it over about a week or so.

I knew going in that there would be several references to 'God' and the 'Bible' - sometimes it felt a bit overdone but, I do understand why having faith and being accountable to a higher power is necessary.

I highly recommend another book to go with this one, again by Dr. Cloud, Necessary Endings. Please read or listen to this book if you find yourself in a place where you really have done your work and things are not improving.

    Way too religious

Got this book to learn more about boundaries in marriage as the title suggests NOT a religious relationship book that constantly refers to the Bible. Way too religious and even sexist in examples of issues between a couple in a relationship. The very beginning is the only good thing about this book. It sways to be more and more religious as the book goes on, ending being the worst.
