Your BPD experiences, stress, trauma, and diet can set you up for the devastating disability called multiple sclerosis. Take back control of your life today. Your health and your sanity depend on it! We will show you how.
People with borderline or narcissistic personality disorders have a serious mental illness that primarily affects their intimate, personal, and family relationships. Often they appear to be normally functioning at work and in public interactions, and narcissists may even be highly effective, in the short term, in some work or social situations. However, in intimate relationships, they can be emotional, aggressive, demeaning, illogical, paranoid, accusing, and controlling - in the extreme.
People with borderline personality disorder (BPD) experience such violent and frightening mood swings that they often fear for their sanity. They can be euphoric one moment, despairing and depressed the next. For years BPD was difficult to describe, diagnose, and treat. But with this classic guide, Dr. Jerold J. Kreisman and health writer Hal Straus offer much-needed professional advice, helping victims and their families understand and cope with this troubling, shockingly widespread affliction.
Unmask the borderline and histrionic person in your life! Does your partner (friend, family member or coworker) have difficulty controlling their emotions? Are they harmfully impulsive? Do you feel like your conversations, fights and arguments go around in circles and seem to get twisted in your partners head? Do you notice that they seem to have a problem with everyone? If you answered yes to any of the above questions, then this book is for you!
The relationship duo between borderlines and narcissists tends to be more common than we think. There is no true way to get a good picture of how many relationships span this dynamic, as many borderlines and narcissists go undiagnosed or undetected. Most narcissists don't have the intuition, knowledge of their condition, or interest in their inner world to pursue why they are the way they are. It is unlikely that they would seek treatment because of their overinflated egos...
Life entails inevitable challenges. To surmount these battles, we each seek for various mechanisms. This particular audiobook on dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) is developed for those who are struggling with borderline personality disorder (BPD), depression, anxiety, and other psychiatric disorders. It will also be a great resource for those who have loved ones beset by the same issues.

This is not a satire, but it takes a satirical approach to shedding light upon a very dark subject: narcissistic abuse. It is intended to demonstrate to those struggling with codependency just how narcissists actually view them. By listening to their "play book", codependents should be able to recognize covert abuse and avoid its pernicious effects.
This audiobook hopes to fill the gap for those readers and listeners who are seeking to fine tune their relationships or to improve an abusive or emotionally volatile relationship. We discuss NPD and BPD as they pertain to a heterosexual relationship, but the same rules apply if the roles are reversed and in a homosexual relationship. We hope to give new light to those who are choosing to stay in the relationship but want better ways to interact with their partner to make the relationship work.
If you are feeling this way, my friend, there is a simple explanation. You may be dating or married to a narcissist. Your self-absorbed partner may be gaslighting and manipulating you. He may cycle between love-bombing and distancing himself from you. He seems to be a nice guy to your face sometimes, but then you find out that he is talking bad about you to others. He seems to triangulate you with other women or family members in order to make you jealous and boost his own ego.
If you downloaded this book, it is no doubt that you are dealing with a narcissist on a regular basis. He or she is probably driving you crazy. They gaslight you and try to make you believe that you're crazy. They blame and shame you for everything that goes wrong in their lives. They destroy and damage everything that others have because of their constant envy. They want to always be on top, and they don't care who they step on to get there.
The first love in our lives is our mother. Recognizing her face, her voice, the meaning of her moods, and her facial expressions is crucial to survival. In this book, Dr. Christine Ann Lawson vividly describes how mothers who suffer from borderline personality disorder produce children who may flounder in life even as adults, futilely struggling to reach the safety of a parental harbor, unable to recognize that their borderline parent lacks a pier, or even a discernible shore.
Your mom and her emotional absence has a lot to do with your current state in life. The Emotionally Absent Mother will delve into your mother's apathy, and why such a lack of compassion may not be her fault. This audiobook will also help you find ways to cope with the pain that you suffered as a child, as well as look past the scars to see a better future.
Stop your BPD for good! Stop wasting money on drugs or therapy. Stop experiencing failed relationships and crippling depression. Once you understand the source of your BPD, you can fight this disorder and be normal again!
Although relatively common, borderline personality disorder (BPD) is often overlooked or misdiagnosed by therapists and clinicians and denied by those who suffer from it. If you were raised by a BPD parent, your childhood was a volatile and painful time. This book, the first written specifically for children of borderline parents, offers step-by-step guidance to understanding and overcoming the lasting effects of being raised by a person suffering from this disorder.
When you have difficulties managing your emotions, it can feel like you're losing control of your whole life. Anger, hurt, grief, worry, and other intense feelings can be overwhelming, and how you react to these emotions can impact your ability to maintain relationships, succeed at work, or even think straight! If you find it difficult to understand, express, and process intense emotions - and most of us do - this book is for you.
This audiobook will guide you through seven habits which are consistent across all game players, manipulators, narcissists, sociopaths, and liars. Simply by becoming aware of these habits, you'll find yourself being overlooked rather than targeted as another mark by these pernicious, intra-species predators.
Don't let your child suffer a personality disorder later in life. Most personality disorders and mental illness problems result from errors in teaching children appropriate perceptions and problem solving skills. This book will give you seven steps to instill healthy boundaries in your children.
When a relationship with a narcissist ends, the caretaking partner is often left confused, deeply hurt, and often still emotionally connected, while the narcissist seems to easily move on to the next relationship. Healing from a Narcissistic Relationship offers guidance about what to expect as the relationship unravels and how to cope with the fallout. It also helps the reader learn to truly disengage and move through the grief process.
Keep these things in mind when a family member or friend has borderline disorder.
Having talked to and interacted with many people who have borderline personality disorder, I could not leave the knowledge I gained to myself. So I wrote this book to help those who know little about the condition and know even less about how to handle the situation. In this book you'll learn:
Easy to listen and take specific actions. A great overview. Quick listen. Will refer back to this multiple times.

I've been looking for cut and dry solutions/ideas to end the war in my home. Not only did this book provide me with real solutions...but as I listened I was shocked at the "nail on the head" descriptions of my male fiancé's behaviors. I am so thankful I found this book. 1 million thank yous to the author. I would love to find such a simplistic way to explain this disorder to the borderline client.

The author makes very concise points about the disorder. So many of the examples I was able to apply instantly, and even remember enough of the situation to know where my mistakes were. If you feel as though any relationship may have symptoms of BPD I highly recommend you read or listen to this book!

This book was short but packed with so much information that is helpful to me living with a spouse with BPD.

I enjoyed this outline of steps to remember when having personal interactions with a loved one with borderline personality disorder. My spouse and I suspect that he struggles with BPD, and we're working on his willingness to get help and testing for it. Our marriage has been a struggle and I wish I had learned of this disorder sooner and heard the steps presented in this book earlier on. I believe we would be in a better position than we currently find ourselves in. The information provided on a BPD's reactions to situations is spot on, and the additional information on how to/not to handle or react to their position as a loved one is great. I will most definitely be listening and making notes to myself moving forward in my marriage in attempts to stop the blow up situations from occurring and have a more peaceful home. Thank you for such a fantastic overview of both sides of this type of relationship!
I really enjoyed how brief the book was, as many of the other BPD books are so long and full of info it can be overwhelming. This was book gives a clear idea of what to expect in having a loved one with BPD, which can help family members feel more prepared. I was hoping to hear more specifics on HOW to set boundaries and regulate my own emotions when a BPD loved one is losing control. Still, a useful, brief read.
I recommend this book to anyone who has a loved one that struggles with borderline personality disorder. The author provides a great summary of the ideas discussed in other books that are out on the market on the same topic. He also provides some good examples of what to do in specific situations.
“Tips” trend towards sx identification and do not offer unique or insightful methods for coping. His self promotion bothered me a lot. Considering my disappointment with this book, I will not buy the others he wrote and recommends.
Where does Borderline Disorder rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
I NEVER THOUGHT I WOULD HAVE THE NEED TO READ SOMETHING LIKE THIS. IM JUST A SMALL TOWN COUNTRY BOY AND STUFF LIKE THIS WILL NEVER HAPPEN TO ME, WOULD HAVE LIKELY BEEN MY RESPONSE IF ASKED A FEW YEARS AGO. I WAS SO VERY WRONG. I NEVER SAW IT COMING UNTIL IT WAS TOO LATE. I WENT FROM MEETING THE MOST BEAUTIFUL PRETTY SEXY WOMAN IN THE WORLD THAT ABSOULTLEY BLEW MY SOCKS OFF WITH HER LOOKS AND CHARM AND UNLIMITED PORN STAR QUALITY SEX. I THOUGHT WE WERE PERFECT FOR EACH OTHER AND I FELT 10 FEET TALL AND BULLET PROOF. BAD THING ABOUT BEING 10 FEET TALL IS IT HURTS MUCH MORE WHEN YOU FALL. THIS BOOK SHOULD BE REQUIRED IN SCHOOL

Loved the simplicity of the information. Exactly what I needed to hear to help my relationship with my daughter. Thank you.
