Publisher's Summary

What others say is not always what they think or feel. But, people’s gestures do give away their true intentions. For those who know how to read it, the body speaks volumes.

This book, packed with the latest research and with detailed illustrations, has a strong focus on personal relationships and shows:

  • How to make a positive impression on others
  • How to interview and negotiate successfully
  • How to bond quickly and get others to co-operate
  • How to tell if someone is lying
  • How to read between the lines of what is said
  • How to use body language to get what you want
  • How to recognize love-signs and power-plays

Stating the obvious

A well writen book, but is more like a text book of fact than a book that teaches the reader the iner workings of body languege. If you would like to know the bare basics of body langauge then this is a book for you.. But if you would like to learn and understand the power of the body languege. I sugest look elsewhere.

Not a good book at ALL!

What would have made Body Language better?

Add good life examples and good instructions.

Would you ever listen to anything by David Cohen again?

How did the narrator detract from the book?

Ah, very booooooring. If anyone can not sleep - that narrator is perfect for anyone to make him or her asleep.

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Body Language?

Exercise descriptions and introductions to every chart of the book.

Any additional comments?

This book looks like a book for 1st year students loaded with heretical description etc. but not any knowledge you can use in real life.
