In fact, sometimes it seems like they’re on a mission to make us miserable! There’s always that one person. The one who hijacks our emotions. The one who seems to thrive on drama. If we could just “fix” that person, everything would be better. But we can’t fix other people. We can only make choices about ourselves.

Almost always this difficult person is connected to you by blood, love, faith, or money, so you can't just end the relationship without causing pain and upheaval in your life. Our friends and today's culture will often advise us to abandon such relationships quickly - to end this unpleasant chapter and get on with our lives. Incredible book
This is an incredible book for anyone who has dealt with needing to put pretty intense boundaries around oneself to protect themselves from another person's actions when do you know to move forward how do you know that it safe to move forward in that relationship or being able to trust others to be able to move forward, how do you know that they're trustworthy? How do you know that it's time to move forward? I have found this book to be very helpful in answering those questions, I hope that you learn a lot about yourself and others as you read this book and move forward in your own personal growth in this season of your life.

Worth Every Penny!
This book is packed full of useful information! The author has a pleasant voice and does not waste the listeners' time repeating himself or with fluff (i.e.; when an author spends the first six chapters of a book telling you what to expect to learn, then repeating themselves as a way of filling up space). The book is refreshing, does not insult your intelligence and keeps the listener engaged. I found his Bible references insightful, however someone who is not a Christian may not. Also, I like how he backs up his talking points with real life examples.
