Good for leadership

Love when he compares boss with leader. The boss knows how it is done but the leader shows how it is done!

Not able to accept the narrator voice

Anytime love John Maxwell's books and their contents and this one is a must READ book. But here the most difficult part is I'm finding it too hard and distracting to listen to the narrator's voice for John Maxwell. The message and the voice is a mismatch and that takes away the focus becomes prime distraction. Don't mean to distract any other listener but this is just my experience.
5 Start for John Maxwell's book but I will give 1 star for the narrator.

Wish author was narrating.

The book is good but the narrator is not nearly as interesting as John Maxwell.

Lots of good info

opened my eyes to lots of things that I need to work on. It was a little struggle to finish as it didn't suck me in as some of the books lately have. It could have been because this book drew out some things that I realized I was doing wrong.

Excellent Listen

I am biased to liking pretty much everything John Maxwell writes. This book is no exception. No matter what our walk in life, it is best that we be a "people person". This book serves as a reminder to be just that. Motivating people, loving difficult people, to becoming a person people trust, are all covered in brief chapters that can be read in the morning before you get out of bed or listened to during your commute.

Too many lists...

If you are a person who likes lists, this book will be great for you. When I was listening to it, it felt like someone was reading the outline of an essay. "This is how to do this. You can do this in the following three ways." Once in a while, a story would be shared to prove a point. It really just sounded like a high schooler reading his paper... clear but not creative.

Good book, poor performance

I enjoyed reading this book throughout the year and I thought listening to it will be an enjoyable experience. However, the poor performance of the narrator is just a stumbling block. The pace was slow and the pauses was awkwardly long i had to speed it up to make it sound 'normal'. Otherwise I love the content of the book!
