Publisher's Summary

Two completely different audiobooks about bass fishing—a 2-in-1 combo!

Audiobook 1: The author of this guide takes you through the steps and shows you the secrets of bass fishing. Catching a giant bass is a nice accomplishment, and a fun thing to do (something you want to take a picture of and post on the Internet). The pros have the experience. You have the desire to learn. It's time to get educated before you waste your precious time waiting for fish that won't want to be caught. Learn from the best. For example, you will learn:

  • The right equipment to get started.
  • Targeting, luring, and figuring out the best location of the bass fish.
  • Everything about fly-rodding, worms, skipping, and drifting.
  • Taking the weather and the area into account before you set out on a fishing trip.
  • Special techniques that will help you be more successful at catching bass.
  • And much more!

Audiobook 2: Do you live in North America? Are you eager to find those big bass fish and are you willing to travel for it? Then get this guide full of tips and locations about where to find those beautiful fish. This guide will give you new insights about several places, among others:

  • The best spots in California, Texas, or Florida to catch bass.
  • Mexican and Canadian reports of bass being caught.
  • Specific tips and tricks about catching bass.
  • Techniques and lures for the ones who want to master catching bass.
  • And much more!

Curious yet? Then don't wait—start listening to catch more bass and take a picture with one of those big boys when you succeed. You'll thank me later.

    Sounds like a 50's documentary

Really bad, this can not be overstated..... Really bad, nothing in it that was worthwhile to me,
Mike Ike's book was much better.

    BAD

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

Someone who needs a constant reminder to keep their head up.

What do you think your next listen will be?

    Not this.

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Bass Fishing?

I would probably cut the entire book. I learned absolutely nothing about bass fishing. Reviewing the title, you would think I might have learned something.

    Any additional comments?

Save your time and money; read something else.

    Excellent tips and data

I haven't fished really since I was a kid. I was on vacation at a lake house in the Adirondacks this past week and I brought my fishing gear. I'm a big believer in researching before doing, so I read this book and low and behold....I caught 3 smallmouth in 45 minutes after following some of the advice/statistics! I can't say 100% it was all due to the book, I didn't ask the fish :). However, I chose my spot on the lake, color, and bait right out of the book.

A Useful Variety of Effective Bass Flies

This book is a very comprehensive guide on bass fishing. I am planning a trip to Lake Charlevoix this summer and want to get into bass fishing. I am practically a beginner and listening this book I already feel more confident on lures, rods, gear and reels. I'll definitely bring along this book this summer. This is a good book for beginners. If you have any experience at all the information will be old hand. Was hoping for some real insight as to how to be a little better than others when it comes to the art of bass fishing. Overall well written.

    Bass Fish 2-in-1 bundle

What did you like best about this story?

The stories from Joe Steender personal experiences at fishing added to the success of presenting how to fish in a manner that made the book far more interesting.

Have you listened to any of Dave Wright’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

The presentation of the book is so simple so anyone can easily understand it. Nothing to be compared of.

    Any additional comments?

Best book around on bass fishing. If you are willing to put in the time reading and digesting it, you will be one hell of an angler. This is an indepth read but so worth it if you want to get to the next level. Best fishing book I have ever read.
