Publisher's Summary

Bill Tompkins was embedded in the world of secrecy as a teenager, when the navy took his personal ship models out of a Hollywood department store because they showed the classified locations of the radars and gun emplacements. He was present at the “Battle of LA”, when 1,430 rounds were fired at UFOs, and one of the Nordic craft selected him to be their rep in the evolving aerospace race. This book is a partial autobiography about his life to about 1970 including some of his early work for TRW. Selected by the navy prior to completing high school, he was the courier for secrets learned from navy spies about the Nazis until he was discharged in 1946.

After working at North American Aviation and Northrop, he was hired by Douglas Aircraft Company in 1950, and when they found out about his involvement in classified work, was given a job as a draftsman with a peripheral assignment to work in a “think tank”. It was controlled by the navy personnel who used to work for James Forrestal, who was allegedly assassinated because he was going to publicly reveal what he knew about UFOs. Bill Tompkins was asked to conceive sketches of mile-long naval interplanetary craft designs.

Later, as he became involved with the Apollo launch vehicle, his insight to systems engineering resulted in his offering some critical suggestions personally to Dr. Wehrner von Braun with more reliable checkout with missiles in their vertical position. This story is peppered with very personal interactions with his co-workers and secretaries, some of whom the he believes were Nordic aliens helping the “good guys” here on Earth. He sketches what he personally saw on TV when Armstrong was landing on the moon. Born in May 1923, Bill Tompkins is one of the few survivors of the “big war”, married to the same girl Mary, and was willing to tell his story about what he really did during his aerospace life in the '40s, '50s, and '60s that relate to aliens, NASA, and secrets that now can be told.

Game changer if 1% of story is factual!

If only 1% of this story is true, mind-blown. Choppy narrative though. Incredible technology but porny story line.

Super stud

Ok book, interesting info. Couldn’t get over the im a super stud stuff. Not really believable. Supposedly all these super hot alien lady’s all wanted him and were throwing themselves at him. If it wasn’t for that nonsense it would have been a much better book

Fascinating

It’s hard to discern which parts are literally true. My intuition tells me that there is a healthy dose of true disclosure here - along with enough fiction to provide plausible deniability. I do recommend this book. It was certainly entertaining and the narration was wonderful.

No one takes UFOs seriously thanks to you!

Hmm hilarious delusion, 100% fake... why? Well, guess what he’s a super secret agent who can’t prove it, who time travels, sleeps with tons of hot alien women, who are way too willing to mate with him (I don’t care what planet you’re on it’s not that easy), also he’s up on spaceships, he’s meeting aliens, everyone thinks he’s right all of the time, everyone compliments him in effusive ways, and yes everyone thinks he’s the man. Not even passable fiction... This is why no one takes UFOs seriously, it’s disgraceful. Bring some evidence to the table Tompkins, not just your fantasy adventures to make a buck. I will be returning.

Madness save your money

This author is off his meds. My advice, don't waste your money as I did. People like this prevent any truth about possible extraterrestrial life ever coming to light. These types of people push the truth out to the fringe. Disappointed.

Crazy Stuff

Leaves more questions than answers. Would have been totally unbelievable, but some great minds seem to think that although the rendering may be a bit crazy, it may have been true all along for what it seems to some now. So for that reason I had dug it up and listened to it. But for it to be true you really need to use a lot of very very wide open-mindedness.

And ego gone mad

This book is a man’s fantasy about what his life could’ve been, he seems like a minor player in the space program but if we were to believe what he writes in this book, just about every good idea for the Apollo program for US missile programs for the space program in general was conceived by him. Every bit of dialogue is colleagues telling him, Bill you’re a genius, Bill you’re so wonderful, Bill why don’t people realise how wonderful you are. Bill you’re such a visionary, you and your extra terrestrial friends are really doing well. If we have to believe this book, many of the engineers working at the Douglas factory on the Apollo program we talking regularly about reptilian aliens lifeforms and sexy secretaries who were Nordic aliens. And of course the sexy secretaries we just wild about Bill, but Bill was married so he’s a good guy. According to him. There is absolutely nothing in this book that remotely looks like evidence for his assertions. I’m sorry but it just doesn’t cut it
