Very emotional read with misunderstandings
Any additional comments?
This picks up where the last book left off with Regina looking for her sister and wanting answers she goes back to where it all began. Bradford has always had a thing for Regina and Regina for him but she married the wrong brother. Now he must put his emotion on hold keeping it together until he learns she is divorce leaving some interesting reading.
Ms Morris narration was great making you really feel each character. It was hard for me to like Regina she isn’t the sweetest person. The narrator really pulls her off very well. I did not hear any background noise or and volume changes or repeat of words just a very good clean clear audio. Her character voices were wonderful you always know who is talking and just what they are feeling. Her male voices were just as pleasant as her female ones. The narrator really out did herself making you feel each emotion the characters were going through. I thought her performance was wonderful.
This is such a short audio that not much can be told about it. I did have a hard time liking the characters each have issues and at time seemed young. Once they get their act together they really work great together working out the mystery. The author gives you some very heated love scenes with a touching note from Regina sister. I thought it was a good addition to this series with some very emotional people who had trouble seeing through the mess they made of their life. I did enjoy the bickering these two had going on, it seem it is easier to see the bad in the other as well as not facing things they should. It was a entertaining read.

Story was Meh! Narration was superb!
This story was kind of Meh. Regina was just a biotch for just about the entire book. Sorry, but if you are going write your main character to act like biotch it is hard to like the character. Bradford wasn't much better either. I had a hard time with finishing this book and it wasn't even that long.
The story line and plot was just kind of boring and a struggle, probably because of the main characters.
As for the narration it was excellent! I am a big fan of Carolyn Morris and that is really why I listened to this book. Sorry for Carolyn Morris, she couldn't even make these characters likable.

Any additional comments?
This was a wonderful addition to the linked across time series. It helps the family get closure from 2, but could also be a stand alone. And the attraction between Bradford and Regina is so hot. Fun read, but was even better on Audio! The narrator really brought the story to life.

Excellent Narration.
Loved the narration of this story. The H and h were a little too wrapped up in being angry or difficult and I think the story suffered—dragged a little. And the time travel portion was a bit of a let down.

Okay, but I didn't like the main characters much.
This book is part of a series and, although I did not read any of the other books, I didn't find it particularly hard to follow the story and what had gone on before. I did, however, find the story lacking. Though the plot seems to be to get these two people, who supposedly love each other, together, they are both so cold and hateful toward each other, that I am surprised they would even want to be together. I didn't care for either of them enough to care what happened to them.
I do have to say, though, that the author's writing style is good and, though I probably won't read more in this series I may read more by this author.
I listened to the audio version and narrator, Carolyn Morris, did an excellent job

Enjoyable story and great narration
This is a romance with a hint of time travel. If you're hoping for more details about the time travel, don't expect it; it was a minor part of the story. Since I enjoy a good time-travel, I would have liked to have seen more about what was going on in the other world. However, it clearly wasn't the focus of the story. There is mildly graphic sex scenes, not offensive in my opinion. I enjoyed the narrator and would listen to another book by her.

Terrible heroine and terrible narrator..
Okay, I didn’t like Regina at all, at any time. She was such a smart-ass, so arrogant, so it’s-all-about-me, so hateful. After she and Trenton got their marriage annulled she told herself it was time to grow up and be a better person. Well, she didn’t. She was as big a jerk as ever. Bradford should have dumped her ass. I didn’t enjoy this story at all. If it hadn’t been a novella I would have quit reading.
There was very explicit sex in this story and the F-bomb was used 9 times.
As to the narration: Another narrator that had way too many 5 star reviews. Carolyn Morris cannot do a masculine voice at all. She reminds me of Alison Larkin. Both voices are grating.

I love this series
Any additional comments?
I am enjoying this series greatly. I was happy to see Bradford get his own story. I was expecting this installment to be a historical time travel but it's set in the present. It was still enjoyable though and it makes sense that some of the main characters remain the present. I look forward to reading more in the series.
