Wake Me Up!
Whatever else this book is, or isn't, it's exceedingly dull. Two lawyers are sent to woo a rich client at a fancy resort and when one lawyer calls the other cold, she puts on a sarong and rubs some grapes on her breasts (as one does in such instances). At which point, if I understand correctly, he starts thinking like a girl and becomes fascinated by her, run of the mill, 'I wasn't the center of Mommy's world' trauma (He has Mommy and Daddy didn't love each other trauma that is equally fascinating.). He want's to feel her pain and heal her wounds.
I like a good fantasy as much as the next girl, but there's a limit to what I can believe.
So - there's no plot to speak of, and the characters are idealized stick figures, incredible and unsubstantial. I can't say I recommend it...

Disappointing
I usually like Carly Phillips books but this one fell painfully short. I couldn't find anything redeemable about the story or the characters. Don't waste your time or money on this one.

Yikes
I like a good romance with a happy ending and I like Carley Phillips but this book didn't impress me. The narrator was awful, bad voices, awkward pauses I was glad when it was over. The story was ridiculous, again lots of romances are but this was really bad. Don’t waste your money.
