assert, the way it is be implemented comes up as undefined. at first I thought this was me. but it is not.

the story teller is good. I really like this book. it was the story teller that sold me on buying the Kindle version.

The book is nice but the figures pdf is completely out of sync with the accompanying pdf

The book is well understandable (i am a software engineer) for listeners.
However, the accompanying pdf is not synced to the book. Figure numbers are completely off and the listings are ordered differently than the books structure. And when you find the correct one - something is almost always different (names, flows,etc). It is like if the book got revised and restructured but the pdf was left behind.

A good reading of a very code centric topic

I was initially worried that this might read out every code listing in the book. But thankfully it's didn't. It did often reference code in the PDF. But I was still able to follow most of the book just by listening.

I thought this was worthwhile and I learned a thing or two along the way. I thought it was well done.

Every other sentence tells you to refer to a diagram. This may be a great reference, but it is useless as an audiobook. If you want to learn, buy the physical copy. Not this
