Publisher's summary

Her mother lied about her identity and her husband wasn't who she thought he was. Can Bailey even trust herself anymore?

Running for her life in the wake of her mother’s murder, Bailey Fleming escapes to the only place she can think of - a remote, dilapidated cabin in Lavender Tides. Intending to finally get to the truth behind the lies of her past, Bailey only finds more questions when bodies are discovered near her cabin hideout along with traces of a dangerous human trafficking ring. In an unlikely partnership with FBI agent Lance Phoenix, Bailey races to understand the mystery surrounding her life and circumstances before the murderer tracks her down.

Meanwhile, Lance is determined to rescue his sister, Ava, who was abducted after running away from home as a teenager. An unexpected lead brings him to the remote cabin, and he wonders if Bailey - with her suspicious past and strange connections to his sister’s case - is really who she claims to be and if she can somehow lead him to Ava.

Secrets at Cedar Cabin takes us back to the evocative landscape of Washington’s coast where nothing is quite as it seems.

"Secrets at Cedar Cabin is filled with twists and turns that will keep readers turning the pages as they plunge into the horrific world of sex trafficking where they come face to face with evil. Colleen Coble delivers a fast- paced story with a strong, lovable ensemble cast and a sweet heaping helping of romance." (Kelly Irvin, best-selling author of Tell Her No Lies)

"Once again Colleen Coble has delivered a page-turning, can't-put-down suspense thriller with Secrets at Cedar Cabin! I vowed I'd read it slowly over several nights before going to bed. The story wouldn't wait - I HAD to finish it!" (Carrie Stuart Parks, award-winning, best-selling author of Portrait of Vengeance and Formula of Deception)

This story is even better than I could have hoped!

I really enjoyed this story. Colleen is a master of suspense and her twists and turns actually make the story even more believable! I loved the mix of Michigan and Washington .

A Great Read of adventure, Love and Discovery

What a Great Book! A riveting adventure with suspense, love, longing and learning of some real life problems. I’ve been waiting to read how the strong characters in this series come to end up. It’s more then worth the time to read and listen. I’ll redo this series in a year or two. It’s so worth the read and a few rereads.

Needs male proofreaders! Lol!

My wife and I listen to your books in the truck and for the most part I love them! But sometimes it drives me crazy when you completely miss the way a man thinks! Professional law enforcement men that are constantly unwary and get snuck up on from behind borders on incompetence! They should be removed from field work and put behind a desk! Lol! And when one guy makes a move on the bad guy and the other guy seems to just be standing off to the side sucking his thumb or something isn't realistic! I get that you're probably a very sweet woman... but guys break faces in those kinds of situations! And, unless I'm the only guy on the planet that listens to these kinds of books with his wife... you need to make your male characters think like actual men!
I'm actually a very sensitive guy and cry regularly during your stories (way more than my wife does) but when faced with the prospect of fiercly protecting the love of my life - I would just as fiercely rip his Adams Apple out and toss it in the gutter without an ounce of remorse! Lol! And, while I realize you could probably never wrap your mind around that... every man that took the time to read this is probably saying "Amen brother!"

Entertaining read

This was the second of the Lavender Tides books I’ve read (I accidentally started with #2), and both have been great reads. I liked the characters who were real, and the plot was never dull- full of mystery and suspense with a hint of romance. This series was my first experience with Colleen Coble, and I was not disappointed.

Great series!

I really enjoy the author’s description of each scene. The characters are well developed! I enjoyed the suspense! I love Colleen Coble’s books! The narrator has a soothing voice and did a good job of changing voices so I could tell someone different was speaking.

Wow

So appreciate Devon O’Day narrating. The story line is great. I love that God is the underlying strength. Reminds me to look to God for Everything!!
