very suspenseful

loved learning about snow skiing and living thru an Avalanche. the plot was amazing. this debut book has me looking to future books from this author.

Enjoyable story

This book was really good. It had suspense, romance and danger. A black lab is trained to find Avalanche victims which was interesting.

just ok

Jthe narrator made the characters sound like little kids and the story was really religious so that was annoying. just ok, a little childish and I almost didn't finish it. it's the stereotypical weak woman not sure what to do without a man telling her.

The story was okay

The story had a good plot but needed some more realistic scenes. The narrator has a lovely voice, but sounds more like a child than felt comfortable for the story. Unfortunately, for me, the combination made the audiobook come across as very whiny. Please chalk some of that up to personal preference.
