The arrival of Susan's sons to work at Gribble Manor has upset Archie, whilst George and Tara are planning the next steps in their relationship. George is still secretly writing bestselling books but a new visitor to the village might be about to disrupt his life.

Miles has his friend, Katie, coming to work with him at the pub and he's ready to look for a new man.

Rose has officially retired from the Sea Shanty and decides to volunteer in a local charity shop, but she soon finds herself in the middle of another mystery where there are plenty of suspects and secrets to be uncovered.
