good listen

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I have listened to this book several times. I found the story line good and it kept my attention. The narrator was good too. This may be an older book but it certainly served my purpose.

Vintage Nora

Nice, easy romance with Nora's style and flair. A little dated, but still a cute story and worthwhile read.

Cute. Simple.

This is a cute, simple story...no great plot, but worth a listen.

Very old book

Written sometime in the 60 or 70's. Good, but defintely an early piece of work for Nora Roberts.

Very entertaining!

Characters real, you felt you'd like to learn more about them and what happened next.

Yawn

This must have been one of her earlier works. It was boring and not worth the price.

A solid Roberts romance

It was a solid Roberts romance. I especially enjoyed the insight into the lives of the authors, both novelist and journalist.

nice

very capable narration- able to handle all the voices, story was enjoyable, not as complex as the author's later books.

Different than her usual

I’ve literally read everything this author has written but this one was better in some ways than any other. The descriptions were richer. She used her words to paint the pictures more vividly. Perhaps it was the characters and subject matter, I’m not sure, but it was pleasant. And the narrator was perfect. Her voice just let the images slide over the skin. I recommend it heartily.

Loved the story......but

I loved the story & the characters! I had no idea it was from 1985, until I heard the credits. The only comment I could really make is that the story's resolution seemed very tipped towards the end & somewhat anticlimactic. It was as if the story was chugging along, then time was up & it had to conclude. Still loved it!
