Second Act
Yes, this was great. We have a movie actor who plays an action hero and a veterinarian who were engaged previously then broken up and now collide on the streets of NYC. The chemistry is still there and the feelings are still as strong. Will they be able to make it a go the second time around? They just need to figure out how to stop the insecurities in their own head from taking over!

I will never leave you behind.
This is another one of Nancy Herkness's success. I can't imagine how insecure a person can become because of their past experiences. No matter how much success they experience, they still feel lacking. It takes strong consistent love to help them feel secure enough to move on to a fulfilling life.

Nancy Herkness is one of my favorites. This book however was very vanilla, formulaic, nothing original. I hope her next series is more like her older ones.

Good Story
This was okay but it felt like it was being dragged out. There was a ton of push/pull with the H going off the rails towards the end.
I did enjoy the story and will continue to read stories by Nancy Herkness.
