Yes, this was great. We have a movie actor who plays an action hero and a veterinarian who were engaged previously then broken up and now collide on the streets of NYC. The chemistry is still there and the feelings are still as strong. Will they be able to make it a go the second time around? They just need to figure out how to stop the insecurities in their own head from taking over!

Cute story of second chances

This is a sweet story about second chances with a touch of substance but not overly deep so a great relaxing read or book to listen to and go about your day (or not lol).

I will never leave you behind.

This is another one of Nancy Herkness's success. I can't imagine how insecure a person can become because of their past experiences. No matter how much success they experience, they still feel lacking. It takes strong consistent love to help them feel secure enough to move on to a fulfilling life.

Good love story with our furry friends having a lot of relevance to the back story. My first with this author and I will listen to her again. Megan is a narrator I've listened to before and enjoyed....and the reason I selected this audible.

Nice book

Second Act (Second Glance Book 2). It is a Nice book. I had sweet and relaxing reading. It has a good pace. Very good narration.

This author is new to me and I have loved all of her books so far. This one was really good and was easy to follow during my drive and work day.

The feeling you get reading Second Act is exciting. It is an energetic and revealing story of second chances and moving forward. What a thrilling, intense, sexy read! Enjoy!!!!!

Not her best work

Nancy Herkness is one of my favorites. This book however was very vanilla, formulaic, nothing original. I hope her next series is more like her older ones.

Good Story

This was okay but it felt like it was being dragged out. There was a ton of push/pull with the H going off the rails towards the end.

I did enjoy the story and will continue to read stories by Nancy Herkness.
