Publisher's summary

Six orphans, a dark and handsome cowboy, and the woman who must expand her heart to love them at Christmas.

Margaret Hutchins has been alone since her parents died of influenza in Chicago a decade earlier. When she moves to Cutter’s Creek in Montana Territory for a fresh start, as the new teacher for the little school, she discovers a cozy community where she’s welcomed and appreciated.

Heath Moore had his heart broken by Charlotte Beaufort years ago, and he’s hesitant to court again. Until, that is, he runs into Margaret just before Christmas - she’s beautiful, intelligent, and compassionate. But when she makes a decision that changes her life forever, it threatens to drive a wedge between them.

Enjoy spending a white Christmas in Cutter’s Creek, as a season of love unfolds in the most unlikely way.

Beautiful story!

This was one of the most enjoyable audiobooks I have listened to. What a beautiful story of a single lady willing to give up her dreams to care for 6 orphaned children. No other family in the area willing to raise all 6 so they could stay together. Along the way she receives help from a handsome rancher. This is a story I absolutely recommend.

Beautiful Heartwarming Story

Six orphans in need of a home and a single school teacher decides to step in to keep the sibling together. It was such a sweet story and a perfect Christmas time read. This was simply another wonderful and clean story by Vivi Holt. It is a shorter story at about 2 1/2 hours in length which in perfect for an evening of wrapping gifts or a car trip. The narrator did a great job and he was a pleasure to listen to.

I was gifted a free copy of this audiobook from the author. My review is offered voluntarily.

Alone No More

The cruelties of life have stripped her of a family; but can she take on the burden of the remnants of another family--of orphan children? Characters from previous novels reprise roles but any overlapping actions are fully explained, allowing this tale to stand on its own. Narrator Paul Curtis lends his talents to the characters as the new teacher struggles to make her way. Author Vivi Holt once more shows the exigencies of prairie travel and homesteading inflicting their hardships but human resiliance ultimately prevails.

An instant family

Margaret the single willingly gives up hope of someday marrying when she takes on 6 orphans to allow their family to be together. After all what man would take her now that she's a single mom of 6 children? Enter Heath who actually admires her selfless love for these orphans. Great story and characters right down to the smallest child.

Enjoyable

This is such a wonderful story. Margaret is a woman who puts everyone and everything before herself. I loved how by just being herself the kids fell in love with her. So much love and compassion in this story.

Exceptional

A very sweet story of a teacher who takes in six orphans and the handsome rancher who helps out. Neither have an inkling for love. But that doesn't stop the heart. I received a complimentary audio and I am reviewing voluntarily.

In this one the female character is different and I really liked her. Like many of this authors stories this is just as good as her other books.
Would recommend it to those who love sweet romance.

Heartwarming and sweet!

What a heartwarming listen this book is! Just in time for the holiday season, Paul Curtis beautifully narrates Season of Love by Vivi Holt. Margaret(Meg) is Cutter Creek's school teacher. When 6 orphaned children come to town and begin to cause a little ruckus, she decides to take in all 6 and give them stability. She can't do it alone, and local bachelor Heath Moore comes to help her out. This book is my favorite of the series. It may be short, but it's full of tragedy, grief, love and happiness. Holt lets us feel the children's wariness to form a new bond and trust they will be a new family. Heath and Meg are wonderful together as their love grows. Experience love and laughter and good traditions of baking and ice skating. It's a warm, happy listen and brings faith and love into the Christmas season.

Inspirational

This story was fun. Margaret is a do-gooder with a heart filled with love. She opens Heath's heart by taking in children the town shuffles from home to home, because they really don't want them. You'll enjoy the story and maybe you'll find a little Christmas Spirit along the way.

The perfomance on the audiobook is outstanding.

Heartwarming!

I really enjoyed this sweet romance story. It had such a great storyline. I loved how Margaret was selfless, Heath was so supportive, and it was nice to watch the children transition into having a sense of belonging and learning to trust. The author and narrator were both great!
