The up-and-coming matchmaking agency Kinnections is the hottest thing to hit Verily, New York—just like Kennedy Ashe, social director for the service she owns with her two best girlfriends. A coach, consultant, and cheerleader rolled into one super-sizzling package, Kennedy creates dream dates, encourages singles to shine, and never refuses a challenge—not even her new client, Nate Ellison Raymond Dunkle, rocket scientist and nerd extraordinaire. Kennedy vows to transform this hot mess in a lab coat with a disastrous relationship track record into the most wanted man on the Verily dating scene. If only she could turn the wand on herself. Though she radiates confidence and sex appeal, Kennedy harbors deep-seated insecurities from her tormented past. When she realizes she and Nate are cut from the same cloth and might be perfect together, can Kennedy learn to let her heart lead the way? Or will her fears sentence her to the sidelines as Nate finds love—with someone else?

What made the experience of listening to Searching for Perfect the most enjoyable?
I really liked that the male in this story wasn't an 'Alpha', yet he was still funny and sexy. It was refreshing because this is the first story I have listened to that the guy wasn't a dominating control freak, who was perfect looking in every way. Kennedy's attraction to Nate developed over time. What other book might you compare Searching for Perfect to and why?
Searching for someday...the first book in the series. There were similar storylines in each one.Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes, and I did...may have not been the most productive thing to do this long weekend, but it sure was enjoyable.Any additional comments?
Normally I like books that are full of smexyness. There was only a little of that in this one....but it sure was good.Refreshing

The universe of characters in the series grows stronger, which is necessary element to any series. Although this is definitely not a YA adult romance, the sultry bits are quite restrained and not the focus. This novel emphasizes the strength of the main character (Kennedy) and her determination to resist change.
Madeleine Maby does an exceptional job at narration. She had narrated many other of Probst's novel. This novel stands alone without reading novel one. You could read novel 2 and then novel 1 without too many spoilers. In conclusion, I recommend this novel and the series. Keep them coming.
