After reading the reviews on this book I wasn’t sure if I wanted to listen to it. I’m glad I did though. It was full of suspense. Maybe a little too much, but I still really enjoyed it. It kinda dragged a little but not so much that I couldn’t push through. I’m planning on listening to the next book.

Very good!

The narrator makes all male voices sound alike - she uses an affected low register for all of them. Her female voices vary more, but are all pretty annoying. She should get some coaching on how to do voices. The story was good, but several scenes were unbelievable. All in all, it was diverting enough for light entertainment but nothing special.

Frustrating narrator, ok book

I loved this book. It was solid in the portrayal of someone with a "gift" and those around her. The child was a bit too sweet for my taste, thus the four star reveiw. I will look for more books by this author.

Superb

Searching for Faith, Carissa Jones, Book 1 by Kristen Middleton was a quick, enjoyable listen. Clocking in at about 4.5 hours, it's a book that I easily listened to in one afternoon. It was enjoyable, though predictable, but I'm happy to have listened, nonetheless. This is the story about Carissa Jones, psychic, and how she helps the police find a crazy man who things that this daughter is out there and that his ex has taken her away from him. He sees his daughter in what seems to be any young girl that somewhat matches his daughters description. He kidnaps them and then when they turn out to NOT be his daughter, he kills them and moves on. Ms. Jones is determined to stop him and has visions of one of the locations that he will be at. This is the story of trying to find him, save Chole's life, and put him away before he hurts any more little girls. As I said, it was an enjoyable listen, though I would recommend Looking for Lainey over Searching for Faith. There was just a little more meat to the Lainey story. Overall, I enjoy listening to Ms. Middleton's stories though. Just wish this one had a bit more depth to it.

Lori Prince did a good job narrating this story. Chloe's voice was a tad bit annoying, but thankfully she isn't talking too much throughout. Ms. Prince read with emotion and made this an easy listen. I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator, or publisher for an honest review.
