Where oh where do I begin. Frances Paul did an amazing job with this story. Make sure you have your tissues ready. I went into this book knowing there were triggers and knowing it was going to be an emotional roller coaster. Courtney and Zachary have such a unique situation. From their first encounter and throughout the entire story they shared such a strong bond with each other. Courtney is looking for a fresh start and she unexpectedly meets and falls in love with Zachary, who has his own issues and demons that he is fighting. My heart for these two was so hopeful throughout the entire story. I don’t want to give away too much but I definitely recommend reading this gem. A solid 5 star read⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

While this was a good read for me, I had trouble connecting to and understanding the characters. This was nothing to do with the writing or the author. I have been lucky enough to never be put in a situation like these characters, which made it a struggle for me.
