The audible version was never edited !

Based on other reviews the content sounds like it is just what I was looking for. However when I downloaded the audible version it sounds like i got the unedited version. In very many places the reader starts, pauses and then repeats himself. Sometimes there are even multiple repeats as he tries to get the emphasis correct. This makes it very difficult to listen to. If it was a physical book I would simply return it, but what can one do when it is an audio book !

Five Stars

Authors experience very much shines through as at times they really will get into things that I would normally consider minutia. The language is simple, very easy to read, and clearly well edited. My description does not do this book justice... go out and buy it if you are interested in agile at all...

Horrible oration

I can’t say if this book is good or not. The oration is so bad I can’t even listen. I’ll read this one the old fashion way!

Very bad narration

The book is great but is hard to follow since the narrator is constantly mispronouncing, mis reading and repeating lines to change the tone. At some points you can hear dogs barking in the back, doors closing, phone notifications and even the narrator cursing because his Siri got activated. Reaaaaally bad.

Audiobook prone with errors

I don't normally write reviews on many things, but after starting to listen to this book I was compelled to save anyone else from the horrible narration associated with this title. The narrator makes mistakes left and right, and none of them are edited out of the recording. In some instances there are long pauses; the kind that make you question whether your device has stopped playing. It makes listening to the topics covered in this book incredibly difficult. You'll spend more time fixated on the mistakes, than trying to actually learn about the topics themselves. I would suggest reading the book instead of listening to it. As far as the book is concerned, it's a high level read. For beginner's it's a good start, although there are other books out there that some will find to be a better read.

No audio editing whatsoever

At first, I thought the reading mistakes were part of the text and were therefore humor. Then the mistakes continued… and continued...and continued. There was absolutely no editing in the audio process. Words and phrases are stumbled over, repeated, stumbled over again, and repeated in almost every paragraph. There was even an instance where the reader pauses to adjust in his seat and you can hear the chair creaking. I made it approximately 20 minutes before the reading was so distracting and so disjointed that I didn't know what I was hearing anymore, and I gave up.

Almost unlistenable

Mistakes are not edited out! Some chapters are okay, but the book gets increasingly harder to comprehend as the narrator will pause and repeat words/sentences after making mistakes, and there are plenty. The only redeeming quality is a good laugh when he accidentally prompts his Siri and cusses at it

Not good, Audible

This audio book is very poor quality & the narrator’s constant stopping, restarting, & repeating of the material is very distracting to the listener to the point the content is hard to follow. It’s as if the narrator is reading the material for the first time. I will be asking for a refund.

Narrator did not edit out mistakes- ruins the flow

this could be a good book but the narrator and editors left in every single mistake made during reading. Rather than edit out the mistakes you very frequently are tormented with the narator repeating himself and changing what is being said. This frequent repetition until a good sentence or word is found rudely interrupts your listening without notice multiple times in each paragraph. i was sick of it within the first 4 chapters and am trying to return the book now- it is exceedingly frustrating since it is so frequent. The interruptions and mid-sentence corrections ruin the flow entirely and makes me lose track of what is actually being said. A terrible 'listen'...

Subject matter very good. Terrible narration

Really wanted to learn the new Agile methodology and the book provides a good introduction. The narrator is awful. Constantly stopping and rereading the content, which makes it very difficult to concentrate. Having listened to lots of Audible books I'm extremely disappointed with the poor quality narration.

This is not a book to take lightly.

This is not a book to take lightly, as you might the Scrum primer (though useful). The work takes you much deeper, and shows the real processes and techniques that make scrum so valuable.

A very well explained book.

A very well explained book. It's simple enough for beginners without unnecessary technical jargon, at the same time it covers all essential methodologies that occurs in a typical scrum organization.
