You might want to pass on this one.

Probably the driest, most uninformative travel guide I have ever come across. Reminds me of a 2nd grade book report with no content.

Horrible

This was a perfect storm of poor writing, poor narration, and lack of useful info. I couldn’t convince myself that the author wasn’t someone in their Moms basement in Oklahoma getting their info from web pages. They use lots of random superlatives about things but didn’t write in a way that seemed heartfelt at all, so I really didn’t feel like they even liked Scotland.

Very helpful

Our first trip to Scotland is coming up. This book is very helpful for some of the places we want to go. Also, gives great ideas for places we hadn’t thought of.
