This has all the feels...

An unusual chain of events keeps the plot moving at a quick pace. Another great read in the continuing DeWolfe saga --intense characters and situations. Le Veque will give you all the feels. Another 5 ⭐️ winner. Oh yeah, after getting used to Brad Will's style, I've come to love his narrations!

The sting of the Scorpion

If you could sum up Scorpion: Saxon Lords of Hage - De Wolfe Pack in three words, what would they be?

Intrigue and politics

What was one of the most memorable moments of Scorpion: Saxon Lords of Hage - De Wolfe Pack?

In the Serpent I loved Kevin Hage and felt so sorry for him when he lost his unrequited love, Penelope de Wolfe to the Serpent. I was so excited to read his story and I was not disappointed. Kathryn Le Veque delivered a roller coaster ride with its amazing story. The story picks up 6 years after the Serpent in the foreign land where Kevin Hage has earned quit the reputation as lethal and deadly assassin which earned the nickname “Scorpion”. Kevin decides to return home to England with his comrades, Thomas de Wolfe and Addonis de Norville. On his way home he’s asked to presents himself before Edward, King of England. The King is fascinated with the Scorpion’s reputation as skilled assassin in a foreign land. King Edward has plans for Kevin and places him in the service of the Duke and Duchess of Dorset. Our heroine is the Duchess Annavieve who has spent her entire life in a convent because she is a descendent her father was of Welsh royal blood and her mother was from the great Marshal family. Through all the intrigue and politics with so many unforeseen twist and turns in this book. The romance starts off rocky for both of them, the quite girl from the convent and the warrior who has vowed to never give his heart again to another woman. Kevin Hage is a magnificent hero who deserved to find his happily ever after with the lovely Annavieve de Ferrers. I thoroughly enjoyed the amazing ride this story took me on. A great read I know you will truly enjoy!!!

Have you listened to any of Brad Wills’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Loved Scorpion!

This story kept me wanting to listen and ignore everything else. I truly enjoyed this book. Kevin and Annavieve were appealing characters in a dangerous situation. Lots of action, secrets, and some nasty bad guys. As usual, Brad Wills was terrific! Love his singing. This is a great series!
