Redundant-dissapointed in the author
This second urban/paranormal fantasy novel became very redundant as it went along. The story arc wasn't developed and the characters, who were nicely fleshed out in the first book, became tedious...they did the same thing over and over and over and.......
...I became tired of it and started to read twitter and facebook messages instead of listening. Granted it's a YA and I'm not but it would take a pretty easily satisfied YA to be enthusiastic about this novel...I wish it lived up to the first book in the series.
Sorry-it didn't hold my attention.
I liked the narrator and this is the first Samantha Young novel I've listened to that I didn't rate 4 stars at least.
Usually I look forward to another book in a series but even though I have purchased the final chapter I've gone to another-totally different-novel. It's much more interesting
(Across the Nightingale Floor). I may just send the third book back to Audible. I'm not at all interested in what happens to these people
