Great Companion

This book is a great inspiration and comfort. It's wonderful to read and equally wonderful to have where it can be heard. It's practical while looking beyond just day-to-day concerns and respectful of other opinions.

This book gives a view of the Bible that enables you to heal like the disciples did!

Extraordinary !

I just finished S&H again, and now I am starting over back at the beginning. The book is over 110 years old, but the principles within are timeless. It is great reading and even better re-reading.

The Key to the Scriptures

I could not put this book down! It has brought to light the scientific healing method taught and demonstrated by Christ Jesus.

A unique classic for spiritual thinkers.

This is the most profound book on spirituality I've ever read. There is a spiritual logic here that I believe is unique to Science and Health.

It is clearly derived from the teachings and practices of Jesus, yet with a spiritual perspective that often challenges theological doctrine -- such as Jesus being God incarnate. Thus some Christians may call it un-Christian. Yet, it clearly promotes the idea that anyone can follow in Jesus footsteps, and that he expected his followers to emulate his life's example, even to the point of helping and healing others through a prayerful trust in God.

Furthermore the book details, and even teaches, its practice of Christian healing. The last 100 pages are comprised of letters from those healed by reading Science and Health.

If you're into spirituality and healing, or just curious about Mary Baker Eddy and Christian Science, this is THE book to read, or hear!

An amazing book

You wonder if this stuff is true, but when you get to the end, you find all these stories that people tell about how reading the book changed their lives. This book is about healing and about how you don't need to depend on typical material means to be healed. God is really Love and by understanding the principles of how Jesus healed, real people nowadays can be healed too. This book takes close listening, but it is full of phrases that stay with you and if you think about them, it changes the whole way you think. I recommend this book for anyone who is a searcher for something better than the current health care situation.

Such a clear vision of the Christ...

This book is everything and more in understanding our relationship with God. I could never part with this book for it is truly the spiritual interpretation of the Bible. It unviels a clear picture of Jesus' healing ministry.

I don't like to reread books, but this book, which unlocks the Bible and makes it usable, is one that I study every day. The first chapter is a practical guide on how to pray. The final chapter, Fruitage, is 100 pages of testimonies from people who were healed just by studying this book.

This would be one of my selections if I were on a deserted island and had to choose just five books that I could have.

It is well read. There are a variety of readers so I don't get bored. They have strong analytical reading skills. The vocabulary is not always easy and I've found their pronunciation perfect.
