A complete waste of your time and your money

The audio notes for this text book could have easily been recorded in a manner that would benifit the listener. Instead of actual "notes" on each of the text book chapters, what you get is 3-5 minutes of only the most basic information (duh!), followed by 10-15 minutes of painfully slow and unproductive quizes on the very most basic chapter content. If you are looking for an edge, look elsewhere!

    Expected a lot more.

I expected a lot more from the audio notes. Of course I was sure I was not going to get a full summary of the book, but it was much less than I DID expect. Each chapter cover MUCH more needed information that I feel could have been spoek of in each audio chapter. Although the information privded does help...
    Worth $20? Maybe not.

    different book

i thought that having a recording of the text would be a good study tool, but when I started listening to the recording while looking at the text I found out that there were big differences. The recording seems to skip some sections and reword others. Overall I am very dissapointed with this product.

    decent resource

A note to say these notes are just that. A concise audio version of each chapter. Its not the book as a whole which is fine as the book goes into huge detail itself. However, if you are trying to learn to be an EMT from only an MP3 player, that's not going to work, so you need to also have the full book.

In short, as a supplement to the book, this is another great tool with which to learn the craft of EMT-b. Plug in it in the car for chapter revision on the way home from work like I did. It will help gain confidence in a subject thats flatly mind boggling when you first look at it.

This program is waste of money!

Any persons that are comfortable wasting $20, this program is PERFECT! I would have gave them no star if it was possible but one star is the minimum. This program doesn't provide any helpful material AT ALL. My advice to anyone considering to purchase this program is DON'T!

All I remember is "Joseph J Mistovich" because...

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

This isn't a reading of the text, but a bunch of quizzes. Each chapter is a reminder of the author which is drilled into you more than content.

What do you think your next listen will be?

Nothing by VangoNotes. They have so much potential for today's student that is needing to take advantage of all down time to go back over important content.

How could the performance have been better?

Present the text and give more information.

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from VangoNotes for Prehospital Emergency Care?

Each chapter does not need to be a reintroduction to the name of the audiobook and author. The chapters are so short already and are made even choppier by the production.

    Any additional comments?

There needs to be more complete textbooks on Audible. I read texts, but spend time on the go and like to hear the text. I purchased this hoping for a more complete refresher course.
