piracy: learn to salve a guilty conscience

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

I thought I was buying a book that might present a balanced debate concerning internet censorship. This book aims to make pirates of internet content feel better about ripping off intellectual property. If the names of 'the beast', the devel' and other pseudo apocalyptic figures had been saved for a wrap-up at the end, I might have wasted more time listening to it. This book is a joke.

Has The SOPA & PIPA Conspiracy turned you off from other books in this genre?

What genre? This is pulp sold off as something remotely useful.

What didn’t you like about Luke Smith’s performance?

The performance had all the hallmarks of something beating up the imminent arrival of 'the devil' on the coat tails of 'the beast' [author's words]. If the narration didn't sound much like 666 the beast from out of space come to small minded America, I might have enjoyed it a little more

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

anger mixed with frustration (more wasted money)

Any additional comments?

Don't waste your money unless you need to find a way to feel good about stealing intellectual property.
