Such a beautiful story....
I absolutely loved this book. I experienced so many emotions and couldn't stop listening.. I was captivated. Listening to this story has given me hope for a better relationship between humans and animals. Here is to a brighter future. Thank you for being an amazing human.

Want to walk among elephants?
Really enjoyed this autobiography. The whole mystery of elephants will always fascinate. That this gentleman rescued a herd that had been deemed rogue is a tale of love and determination.

A wonderful look at these amazing creatures!
What I found most fascinating about this wonderful book is the sometimes successful attempts on the part of the author to communicate with elephants. It's well-written and extremely well narrated!

Absolutely Wonderful!
This audible book was recommended to me by a friend with a sweet gentle soul. It took me three sittings to get through it and I loved every minute. A great story and a wonderful narration. I'm so glad I took the time to enjoy it straight through. It brought me joy, wonderment, tears, laughter and a warmth that has endured. I definitely recommend this book.

I Love It
This story, and narrator made me feel like I was right there. I could feel the bond between the Elephants and the man grow. I can see in my mines eye Nanna with her trunk touching the guys chest and head.
I was really pulled in by the Narrator he made you feel as if you were there with his accent and his description of scenes from the stopping of the elephants feet the flapping of their ears he gave you an emotional ride with the elephants. This is a great book for young and old.

If you could sum up The Elephant Whisperer in three words, what would they be?
Whole New World!
What was one of the most memorable moments of The Elephant Whisperer?
Lawrence's telepathic connection to Nana!
Which scene was your favorite?
When Lawrence is standing just yards away from the electric fence, which Nana and Frankie are beginning to short out with an Acacia tree. "Don't do it, Nana. Don't do it girl. This is your home now...You are safe here" And her response...moving away. I cried tears of deep amazement.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
The devotion shown to an injured newborn calf by the whole herd and her mother's refusal to leave her.

I am still impacted by this book. The authors deep resonance with the animals on his reserve filled my heart with gratitude. Namaste'

Elephants are fascinating! Such a great listen
Recommended by a friend, this one is a treasure. I love elephants, I love that they are family oriented and I love that they remember. This story of a conservationist and how he befriended a herd of elephants is very touching. Elephants should always have their family around them. The Narrator added so much to this story, his accent made me think he this story was his own. Such a great listen
