Publisher's summary

When it comes to cancer, conventional doctors are trained to treat their patients exclusively with surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy. These methods are grueling on the whole body - and they don't treat beyond the tumor or the cancer itself. The focus is on the disease, not the whole person - and because of this, the outcomes in conventional medicine can be bleak.

But it doesn't have to be this way. Dr. Leigh Erin Connealy has developed a whole-person approach to treating cancer - and these treatments have helped thousands of patients through her Cancer Center for Healing. In The Cancer Revolution, Dr. Connealy shows you how to get to the root causes of cancer and the practical steps you can take to get back on the path to healing - from balancing your body's chemistry with nutritional supplements, following a healthy food plan, detoxifying your body and home, exercising regularly, getting deep restful sleep every night, practicing stress reduction techniques, and putting together a supportive healing team.

Critic reviews

"Dr. Connealy understands the role of nutrition, epigenetics, and integrative approaches in healing cancer and even preventing cancer. Cancer is not a death sentence. There is always hope, and this book will empower you with knowledge that just might save your life or the life of a loved one." (Ty M. Bollinger, New York Times best-selling author)

Narrator read to the wrong audience.

Even though I wanted to learn from the author, I wasn't able to finish listening because the narrator performed like she was reading fiction to preschoolers and kindergarteners. I plan to pay Chirp to finish listening to this book, but only if they use a different narrator who will perform as if adults are her listeners.

Thank you Dr. Connealy

Since my stage 3B colon cancer diagnosis in July 2022 I have been reading all that I can about ways I can heal myself. Most information seems so overwhelming and unrealistic. The information that Dr. Connealy shares in her book is practical and doable. To anyone fighting the cancer fight or to those supporting them on their journey I would highly recommend this book.

Good information

A lot of great information that should be common knowledge and standard protocol rather than suppressed and dismissed. Time for people to wake up and take control of their health rather than succumbing to the profit driven “health”care and pharma industries. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and expertise.

INFORMATION WE ALL NEED BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE

Where does The Cancer Revolution rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

a little boring, tone of voice and inflection are a bit monotonous.

What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?

I'm still listening so I can't answer fully.

What three words best describe Donna Postel’s voice?

soft, steady, articulate.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I'm scared to death of Cancer! Too many people I know are or have been afflicted and I'm trying my best to avoid it.

Any additional comments?

Where is the .pdf? I need that file so I can download docs and look up noted websites etc.
