Effectively done.

Peace combats rumination and worry which cause mentall illness such as depression and anxiety and that mindfulness based- interventions as mentioned in the book are effective in the reduction of both rumination (repeatedly thinking) and worry.

good books like this mean a lot!

Many things disrupt our attention , of being in a state of “Mindfulness” ; materialistic things, intellectual pursuit and enjoyment of life, but these cannot satisfy us so we are still devoid of peace. Thus good books like this means a lot.

The power of mindfulness.

I for one also finds it hard to be “mindful” in my search of truth ;as when I meditate on spiritual matters , many things cluttered my mind for me to go deeply in understanding them that I can really apply to my daily life.

Totally agree with this.

The author has laid down a simple 8 weeks plan for finding peace in a frantic world and the key is in these letters “Mindfulness” and I totally agree with him.
