Algorithms to Live By possesses the two qualities that are key for a good book: an amusing factor and meaning. It truly is an entertaining read because of Brian Christian’s funny ways of phrasing his analogies and how practical his teachings are. The audiobook manages to keep you entertained while he walks you through a more efficient method of thinking.

Brian Christian stresses that thinking in algorithms is using your brain in the best possible way.

P.S. Algorithms to Live By is a brilliant book that will completely change the way you solve problems. With a simpler and more elegant train of thought, your odds of obtaining the best result possible when problem solving is significantly higher.

Algorithms break down, step by step, how a problem is to be solved. While this term is commonly applied to computers, this guide considers a variety of well-established algorithms as they might apply to human decision-making

good process

They look especially at memory storage and network communications, using the example of algorithm development to show how these techniques can be used in our decision making processes.

great boook

This is an overview of the actual book “Algorithms to Live By.“ Kind of like an abbreviated ‘Cliff's Notes’ for the FULL book. It provides a potential rlistener enough information regarding the book’s content to determine if we want to invest the extra money and time to actually buy and read the entire book.

very crisp and good summary

it provides a short and workable summary of the book. You can straightway start applying these in your lives.
By the last two chapters the speaker was exhausted and it made me feel like I am punishing someone. Please have mercy on people and make them work only for the time it is feasible.

actual book

This book should be free as a lead in for the actual book
All in all, a bad deal even at this price
I certainly did like the book, but I resent buying the ad for the actual book
