Technical and thorough

On the whole, I found the chapters informative. But Chapter 2, which looks at the nervous system with its neurons, glial cells and Schwann cells, was a bit too hard for me.
I believe the main drawback is that the reader is fast when you need to take in specific information. Personally, her timbre was irritating.
It's a serious and substantial book, and I'm glad to have bought it. I'm fed up with pseudo- psychology literature that has taken over bookshops.

in description it says 22 hrs and its not

Good listen. Not really what I was expecting though. I think the narrator is perfect for this type of book (educational) sounds like a teacher reading to a class.

Great Contents, Poor Narration!

If you could sum up Psychology in three words, what would they be?

Great! Great! Great!

What didn’t you like about Mina Sands’s performance?

Narrator reads the book just like a text-to-speech (TTS) software, together with many mispronunciations!

Good psychology textbook

If you could sum up Psychology in three words, what would they be?

Informative, Organized, easy-to-follow

What about Mina Sands’s performance did you like?

Good enunciation, pace and energy

Any additional comments?

The book is broken up into 13 chapters/files... this makes it easy to select one topic (such as the brain, or social psychology) and listen to it in about 90 minutes. If you are interested in psychology, this one is certainly worth the credit...:)

Very informative

I'm not sure how this book rates with people who are taking Psychology as a college or university course but I would guess it should rate high.
The naration is pleasing to listen to and the book is easy to follow and understand.
There is a whole lot of good content and very interesting.
