informative

I'm extremely satisfied with this book. It incorporates finish handy way to deal with machine learning subject. Details about all calculations, as well as talks about different basic strides in setting up the informational indexes for ML work, assessing the models utilizing APIs from Scikit-Learn and Tensor Flow.Great over all.

great start

I have listened several books of machine learning, this seems to me an interesting book on that subject but I do not find a strong relationship with the opencv world;

certainly shines through

Excellent book! If you want to get a good understanding of machine learning then this is the book for you. The author's passion for making this subject understandable for the masses certainly shines through. I particularly like the additional chapter files that accompany the book using Anaconda extremely useful and well laid out.

detailed ml intro

Excellent, detailed intro into ML. Examples are simple, but understandable. I downloaded book's code from the website listed. That was the only inconvenience, since I had to find the site, register and then download

learn lot of things

Good illustration which is extremely easy to understand. Ofcourse, there would be things that you won't understand at all. For eg., if you are a beginner like I was, it would be difficult to gulp in the mathematical and conceptual concepts regarding the Gradient Descent Method, how Regularizations are used etc

new ML book

This is a fantastic book, even for a relative beginner to machine learning such as myself. The first thing that comes to mind after reading this book is that it was the perfect blend (for me at least) of theory and practice, as well as breadth and depth.

5 stars

If you looooove linear algebra and can't stand simple human explanations then this is your book. I'd recommend something a little more basic for those of us who are very smart but haven't learned the linear algebra language. There are many other books that are able to explain the algorithms and other processes without speaking linear algebra.

nice book

This book is quite good. Normally, I only buy used books (to save money). Since this book is so new, I could not find it used. Hence I bought it new at full price. I was wary of the expenditure and the content.

extremely enjoyed

I bought this book to help me get up and running quick for a project in an "Introduction to Machine Learning" independent study course. Of the books I bought for the same task, this was by far the most helpful for building practical machine learning applications.

lots of good examples are provided

I found this book to be quite informative for someone who just get into machine learning. Lots of good examples provided..however, I want to see some more real world application examples rather than sample data sets
