Publisher's Summary

Being an introvert has pros and cons. Let’s talk about them.

Are you an introvert? Or do people say you are? Or are you in a relationship with an introvert? Then this book might just be the thing for you.

Some people confuse being an introvert with being shy or socially awkward or just a loner. This is absolutely false and completely inaccurate. Although some introverts may be shy, this is not necessarily an introvert trait. Being somewhat of an introvert himself, the author goes over several aspects of introverts that are either obvious or hardly noticeable and sometimes deeply rooted. To say that different regions of the brain are used by introverts is another mystery this book will lightly touch on.

Aside from the strong arguments and statements made, listeners can enjoy the following:

  • Understanding the advantage of being an introvert in selling, leadership, and success
  • The balance of introversion and extroversion
  • How to effectively use your introverted self
  • Insights in the introverted way
  • Feeling empowered and ready to take on the world
  • Not feeling like introverted thinking is a disease you just have to deal with
  • Practical tips on life
  • Why introverts tend to think deeply and can focus well
  • Get some of your feelings truly validated

Introverted thinking is a highly sophisticated way of analyzing or pondering life’s observations deeply. The societies of the world cannot thrive without the valuable input of introverts, and to understand that, we need to dive deeper into what typifies an introvert and how that person and those around that person can benefit the most from their skills and talents.

Very detailed book.

This book is simple and powerful. I really enjoyed it and have thought a lot about my own experiences and perceptions. This book is a great tool for any other introvert to see how they fit in and thrive in an extrovert driven society.

Amazing book!

To my surprise, my people really take notice of this and make a point to listen to me. This is just one of the ways this book has helped me to stop getting in the way of myself. It has helped me to lean into my nature and waste less time/energy conforming to what is common because I assumed that is what is expected.

Exactly What is Expected

It explains situations when I was successful and others where I struggled. I love where life has taken me, but now I feel a little more aware and capable of steering it to more happiness and success.

Very good information..

This is a great read for quiet, introverted people like myself.
I have tried to change myself in some ways to adapt better to the society however this was not always possible without external help.

Awesome challenge

This book explores the true meaning of introversion, shatters stereotypes and myths perpetuated by an extrovert-centric society and offers practical implementation techniques and advice for personal and professional growth, including leadership roles for the enlightened, empowered individual that lives within all introverts.

Loved it!

LOVE IT! This book described me perfectly after I took the test that is in the beginning of the book. I now feel normal, my normal. Anyone who feels like they are an introvert and is questioning that, this book will help you understand who you are and how to deal with it.

FIVE BIG STARS

The author's attempt to slot introverts into four categories was a waste of my time. I can see that someone who is not an introvert might get some insight but don't think it is helpful to someone who is living with introversion.
