Robotic

There is no emotion in this book. Sounds like a list of facts with no story line. It was difficult to listen to even though some of the material may be useful.

Tons of resources

While here wasn't a huge amount of information to prepare me for my first IVF, there was page after page and list after list of experts and resources. it would be easier to have this in paper copy in order to see and reference resources easily.

Misleading

Misleading title for someone like me who did an abundant amount of research prior to treatment. Also, some information was not accurate and perhaps should above been confirmed before publication.

mostly stuff you already know

the first half of this book is simply geared for people trying to conceive. like it's telling you how to find your ovulation window and lh surge etc..like if I'm going to be doing IVF don't you think I already know about BBT and opks? there was some useful information in the middle of the book, because even though I generally know how IVF works I don't know a whole lot. I am very familiar with the terminology. and then the last part was like inspirational tips from people who've done IVF. so yeah I mean it wasn't all useless info, but I'd say you can easily skip the first several chapters if you've been ttc awhile because you don't need any of that info.

Such positive tips

I’ve read multiple IVF books. I have two favorites and this is one of them. The author gives such inspirational tips. Reading it sounds like the therapist you need for the IVF journey. I read it twice , I loved it even more the 2nd time. Highly recommended it!

Should not listen to this- more like a manual

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

You sit for a long time just listening to emails and organization numbers and websites- not a good listen

Has IVF: A Detailed Guide turned you off from other books in this genre?

no

How could the performance have been better?

Should not be an audio book, more like a manual

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
