Genuinely helpful

My honest opinion is this is a genuinely helpful, realistic and wonderful book. I would go as far to say it is life changing, if you implement the advice given. Not everything applied to me but the vast majority of it did and i am already finding myself coping MUCH better with life in general. I feel happier, calmer and more confident.

My favourite book in a long long time

What made the experience of listening to How to Overcome Anxiety & Worry through Mindfulness the most enjoyable?

How it was all laid out - easy to follow, great narratition and how the tips seemed to start working for me instantly.

Have you listened to any of Jennifer Groberg’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Nope but her narration was excellent.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

RELIEF! To finally find some help with anxiety and low self-esteem etc

Mindfulness can be a very powerful tool but you really need the right book to help you. I have tried several but most seemed full of nonsense or too difficult to follow. This one was different.

I have recommended this to many friends already who are also seeing the benefits. Give it a try, even if this is not your usual sort of thing.

A worthy addition to my library

Recommendations online lead me to this book. To be honest when i first got it I found the first 30 mins slightly dissapointing but after that it got to some pretty unique points of view which, as other people have stated, were easy to follow!

Makes sense

It actually made sense of mindfulness and most vitally how to ACtUALLY use it in daily life.

Found the narration excellent.

Price was very reasonable.

I would recommend this.

Anxiety tips and tricks

Like many self help books this book give a series of different approaches to overcome anxiety or stress

However, unlike other books this one addresses anxiety and stress from a mindful perspective. Definitely a good resource for those working through conquering anxiety!

Love this Audiobook!

This is such a wonderful audio book. I purchased it because I struggle with anxiety and I constantly worry about my self esteem, etc. I thought this book would give me peace of mind and I actually go so much more! I love the way this book is written. It's devoted to making you feel good about yourself and letting go of the stress, fear, and panic that a person like me goes through everyday. I'm so very thankful for finding this book and will definitely be purchasing more from author Michelle Galler!

Not sure if enjoyable is the right word, but I found it inspiring and it gave me a lot of hope in my life.

The last half of the book really spoke to me, felt like a good friend / doctor giving me solid actionable advice.

Really food.

Would you listen to How to Overcome Anxiety & Worry through Mindfulness again? Why?

I would because I found it very useful. The only, small, downside is I thought the narrator was a little annoying in places but only very slightly. Overall, a fantastic and fascinating audiobook and one I really do recommend.

A life changing book

Where does How to Overcome Anxiety & Worry through Mindfulness rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

For books about personal growth, it is number one.

What did you like best about this story?

Real! Genuine! Easy to understand. Unique!

What does Jennifer Groberg bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Her narration was good, but at times could be a little irritating, but nothing too major.

A calmer, less stressed person!

Stress, worry, panic etc have laughed me for much of my life. I am not going to talk nonsense and say that everything is 100% cured overnight after one book but I can say, that after trying propably 50 of these books, this is the FIRST one that has made sense to me and has worked. It is well laid out, easy to follow and the advice, for me anyway, is working and i feel calmer and happier every single day.

a good summary of everything

worth it if you have anxiety and stress. the only thing it doesn't cover very much is panic attacks and avoidance

Really helpful. Gentle and positive advice..

This will definately stay with me. The help and advice given is nothing new, but the way she explains it is so straight forward, non judgemental and gentle it sticks in your head more.
It was lovely to listen to and it gave me a straight forward guide to helping myself to manage my anxiety.

Very good, well worth it.

Got this and finished it two weeks ago but only getting to review now. Have to say I loved this, learnt a lot and was relieved to find fresh and interesting content. Narration was generally very good, just a TINY bit irritating towards end, but overall I highly recommend this one.

Don’t bother

Tedious and ridiculous. “Does a full moon have any effect on you?” says the robotic voice that someone thought would be a good narrator for this nonsense. I got this audiobook for free ... yet somehow I still feel like I paid too much.

Very impressed - i already own the kindle version and I originally bought the audiobook version as an accompinant but to be honest I much prefer the audible version. Such an amazing book, which had already been recommended to me by a friend. It has helped me to become a calmer, more capable, confident and ultimately happy person. Everything felt realistic, ands thankfully it was all very easy to follow.
