Publisher's Summary

Have you watched the news lately? They can't stop talking about hacking. It is portrayed in movies, shouted about in media headlines, and typically gets a lot of attention. In fact, in the run up to the 2016 US Presidential election, there were allegations made nearly every day that the Russians were influencing the election by hacking into American databases and systems. And who can forget Julian Assange and his infamous WikiLeaks that successfully hacked into hundreds of thousands of emails, and whose actions may have kept Hillary Clinton out of the White House.

All this is commonly known as black hat hacking - where the hacker gets onto a network in the hopes of obtaining information that was not intended for their use. However, there is another side of hacking - known as ethical hacking - that operates within the legal frameworks. In fact, many companies pay "ethical hackers" hefty salaries to keep their organization's information safe. After listening to this book, there's no reason you can't become one of those individuals and dramatically increase your paycheck!

Of course, this book is a beginners guide so it is not all inclusive. We have more books on the way that will go into a more technical analysis of hacking, provide detailed tips and strategies, and a more advanced guide. Stay tuned and subscribe to our email list to get the best deals!

This extensive beginners guide will start you off on the right foot. We will go into details about hacking in all its various aspects.

Good basic hacking book

What did you love best about Hacking?

It talks about all the basics which is good. If you have no computer knowledge or consider yourself a brand new newbie to this real of computer hacking, then I advise getting this book.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

It took me a few days to finish it but I wished it was longer. Still it's still very good and I would recommend.

Any additional comments?

Good content about hacking. Lots of basics that I never knew and I'm sure you'll learn something new too.

Good start

This is a good book for anyone that knows very little about hacking. I don't recommend to intermediate or advanced penetration testers.

An understanding of hacking

if you know nothing about hacking but what the media tells you, then the first part of this book is for you. the second part is good for getting started, but you probably want the text as there are a lot of terminal commands.

NICE BOOK!!GIVES MANY INFO!!!

this is really nice and gives many info about hacking protection. There are some unethical hackers, but many use hacking as a protection, to protect themselves, families, or business they are associated with. After one gets proper understanding of hacking, and how it works, one is ready to learn basics of hacking. But I know the basics and will be more careful with digital data I am impressed.

Clever guide

This book is for the security pro or would be hacker who want's to begin to see how deep the rabbit hole really does go. There is no other book like it on the market, and I've read most of them. Most books on hacking I've read before keep to a high level view of the field and so end up being more like history books then something to actually teach you how to do it.I would like to recommend it.
