Publisher's summary

The more you learn about quantum physics, the more you wonder: who is really creating your reality? Fear not, Dr. Quantum, superhero of spiritual science, is here to help you meet the real creator: You! Join this champion of modern thought (sometimes known by his alter ego, Dr. Fred Alan Wolf) on a quest for truth through the strange reality of quantum physics. Listeners will discover how we participate in the manifestation of each moment, why the universe only seems to be beyond our ability to control, and how we can use the principles of cutting-edge science to truly take charge of our lives. On this four-part journey into understanding, Dr. Quantum will unravel such mysteries as:

  • Your "spiritual elephant", who is really in control of your life from a quantum perspective?
  • Quantum heaven, quantum hell, if we create our own reality, why do things happen that we don't want?
  • "If I have a soul, why doesn't it do something?" How to open a dialogue between your "self" and "soul".
  • Is there one soul, or are there many? A quantum perspective on the nature of self and other.

Whether he's rescuing listeners from confusion about subatomic subtleties or breaking down the barriers between science and spirit, Dr. Wolf sets the standard for bringing quantum physics down to earth and into our lives.

Love this Guy

This book and the Time travel book by Fred Ellen Wolf have really made a difference in my whole life in the last few years. I feeling I’m living better happier in a subtle way. I really read a lot of books on quantum mechanics cause it’s so amazing to consider. Honestly I go back to this one and re listen over and. My curiosity about the subject matter is big. Sounds crazy but I do wonder how can I really be the creator of the universe. That’s what keeps me coming back to listen again.

Awesome!

I really enjoyed listening to Dr. Quantum discuss his ideas about soul, heaven and hell, how we create our reality, and what Quantum Physics has to do with it all. I discovered Dr. Quantum from the wonderful “What the Bleep Do We Know?” movie, and ever since then I have become interested in what he has to say (as well as what the other people in the movie have to say). I find him easy to understand and actually quite entertaining. I found myself laughing out loud at times. He really kept my attention throughout the entire presentation. In fact, I have listened to this audio book about 3 times now (I’ve only had it about a week), and I am taking notes! I am also researching some of the people and experiments that he mentions (i.e.: Benjamin Libet and his work on neural adequacy). I am considering purchasing his other audio presentation: A User’s Guide to Your Universe.
I had no prior knowledge of Quantum Physics until I watched the “What the Bleep” movie, so all this stuff is new to me. I am glad that I started my study of the mystery with Dr. Quantum as a guide.

Quantum Science For Real People!

I'm a fan of quantum physics but struggle with the concepts most of the time. This audiobook had me sneaking whatever few moments I could get to continue listening to this fascinating concept of how we apparently create most of our own circumstances and opportunities.

If you have an inquiring mind, I'm sure you'll find this an interesting "read".

Dr. Quantum Presents Meet the Real Creator - You!

I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Fred A. Wolf aka Dr. Quantum during a conference held at Simon Fraser University called, "The Bleep Conference". Fred makes Quantum Physics seem like childs play. Clear, concise examples that are relative to everyday life make learning QP fun and enlightening. I know that anyone even slightly interested in physics will find Fred's narrative fun and applicable to our own lives in all ways. Very enjoyable! Absolutely a must hear!

good listen

How can anything be objective when the observer is part of the system he is observing? At best only a model can be offered. You can either buy into it, or not. As for religion and science; well, they both have their own priests, don't they? And yet, are they not ultimately trying to model the same thing? Is this not one of the things that thing that baffled the quantum scientists so much... Looking down into the very fabric of reality they "saw" what the ancient Hindu writers explained? So then, some scientists ask, what is religion and what is science in relation to the data obtain at the quantum level? ("Tao of Physics" is a good example). If they (religion and science) are both trying to describe the ultimate reality; should they not at some point cross?

Wolf is always fun to listen to, and reminds me of one of my old physics professors.
It is a good listen.

Entanglement proof

He is a little zany, but it all fits together. We just need to remember to practice this in our lives. I feel that all life and all things are sacred and holy. A fun and informative audio book.

Not what I expected

His book was not what I expected. I had exposure to him in the "What the bleep do we know" movie, and thought he was a circus act. He does have a very bizarre style, but that is just him. Its real. He is actually very cogent and informative surrounding a very difficult topic to understand for us lay-people. It took a while to get used to his voice, but it was worth the time listening. I learned more than I expected and decided to get his other works. Fred has more to contribute to our knowledge base than just quantum physics.

Thought provoking

Dr. Wolf is excellent. This is the second audiobook of his I've listened to and like the first, I've gone back and listened to certain chapters several times over.

Whether you agree with his philosophical theories or not, they are indeed though provoking.

I thoroughly enjoy listening to his voice and his sense of humor is wonderful. His audio's are incredibly entertaining and while listening you feel as if he is actually talking to "YOU."

You can also contact him personaly via his website. I sent him an email and by the next day I had a reply.

Great Explanation of a Tough Subject

Dr. Quantum's (Dr Fred Alan Wolf ) style is playful and takes on different personifications, I liked it. This playfulness helps bridge traditional views to a new way of seeing the world through quantum possibilities.

Quantum possibilities are a real large jump from traditional thinking. This book is for people willing to evaluate new information, not for people to slam because it doesn't match their established world view. Remember, as Dr. Quantum points out, everyone once believed the World was flat, and the Sun circled the Earth. If you wish to learn how science now sees the World, this is an EXCELLENT choice.

Pure gold!

This audio book is pure gold. I have purchased more than a dozen fine audiobooks and this one is now number one on my list. Wolf reads his own book and some of the strait-laced may be a bit put off by a herr professor who in spots sounds like a manic comedian. And maybe a few aspects of the argument could have been more developed and the point underlined. But this is a popular introduction on how quantum physics relates, or has similarities, to a spiritual understanding of the world and as such, I think, is a spectacular success. Wolf uses metaphor, analogy and word pictures to bring his point across, signs of a very good writer. He deals in profound ideas and though he may make it seem like a sleigh ride, it aint that easy to do. There is speculation here and assumptions so if you are looking for a scientific explanation of quantum physics this audiobook is not for you. Materialists, you'll hate it! But for me, Wolf is a supremely wise old coot full of vim and vigor and joy of life. A gem.
