Publisher's Summary

Edward Stourton’s columns, recording his regular excursions with Kudu, the Springer spaniel, appeared fortnightly in the Telegraph from May 2009 until September 2010. They form the basis for this witty, charming, and revealing book of canine musings. Ed’s focus might momentarily seem trivial, but his canvas proves to be immeasurably wide. Kudu’s small trips to the park offer big insights into romantic attachment, warfare, guilt and depression, honour and heroism, our sense of duty, beauty, and the hard facts of life’s pecking order.

"Good idea but not so interesting to me."
Where does Diary of a Dog Walker rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Not the worst but definitely not the best.

Who was your favorite character and why?

    Don't have 1.

Which character – as performed by Edward Stourton – was your favourite?

Similar to previous question so can't answer.

Did you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

    Any additional comments?

I'm not a dog lover so this book didn't have anything in it to make me want to listen to it again. I bought it because I've listened to Edward and was curious as to what he had to say.

"Lovely listening to Edward's voice again"

This is so much more than a happy stroll with dogs and doggie folk. Stourton's work in journalism exposes him to fascinating experiences to report and reflect upon. This book gives us an opportunity to appreciate the less formal side of Stourton's output, with nothing less than his own lovely voice telling the tails!
