Terribly written mash-up of half-baked ideas

What disappointed you about DevOps: 2 Manuscripts?

Reads like it was written by an excited, but unskilled student from a non-English speaking country

Has DevOps: 2 Manuscripts turned you off from other books in this genre?

No

What didn’t you like about William Bahl’s performance?

Echo. sounds like it was recorded in a bathroom

Highly recommended

I like the book, everyone raves about it for good reason. I found the narrator really annoying but pushed through it - very useful and highly recommended.

good organisations

The book itself best summarizes what DevOps actually is: "a professional and cultural movement that stresses the iterative efforts to break down information silos, monitor relationships, and repair misunderstandings that arise between teams within an organization."

mind blowing

The knowledge and wisdom contained would be a great addition to any student that wants to understand how to be successful when implementing and maintaining software applications in today's business environments.
I appreciated the coverage of everything from toolchains, to culture, a critical component of DevOps. I felt you led the reader well through the entire process and provided insights, details and suggestions for every step.

Passing the books around at work

Any additional comments?

This book opened my eyes to the way businesses could run and perhaps additional ways of viewing the various departments across the build pipeline. It explores not only process and concepts but a business organization, culture, and tools. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who is interested.

GET THIS BOOK!!!

Any additional comments?

Thru the book; this is, of course, wholly appropriate given the nature of dev ops and the need for the business, dev. and ops to work as one. Whether you're simply interested in optimizing your current delivery process, or looking to create a foundation for innovation, then this book is a "must deliver".
