A sporadic overview at best

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

Soldering information is not correct whatsoever, you will not be soldering anything at 300°F. The presentation of information follows no method whatsoever and touches on random information throughout.

circuit engineering

This is a good book about circuit engineering. I wish audible had more books about semiconductors.

rare citations, technical procedure, or theory

rare citations, technical procedure, or theory. the thing is mostly opinion. they use moreover every other sentence and you start counting it while trying to push through to the useful information. moreover, i learned nothing here

Great intro

it was good for someone just beginning with electronics. for more advanced readers, they might want to beyond this.

horrible audio!

Every sentence starts with the first part clipped off. The first word of every sentence is at least partially if not completely missing. Absolutely unlistenable.

Not too informative

Later in the book, facts are stated that are very helpful but in the beginning, equations are talked and referenced but never voiced to the reader. Also book jumps around alot and does not have a fluent learning path.

Overall, worth it.

The audio was easy enough to listen to, narrated at a great speed, and definitely kept me interested. I look forward to learning more about the subject.

Almost no practical information

Any additional comments?

It doesn't get into any details - most of the time it simply mentions formulas or laws without even specifying their content or at least a concrete example. The book seemed to have been written in a hurry and with the purpose of simply filling the number of required pages.

Alright

Any additional comments?

I am just happy to see an engineering subject in here. Yes, it could have been longer and better but it's a good introduction to get you thinking a little bit about electronics. I wish there was more engineering related subject on Audible.
