Publisher's Summary

Anatomy and physiology help you understand the complex systems that make up the human body. To understand the form and function of your body - and anyone else's - it is imperative that you learn gross anatomy, histology, and much more.

Inside you will discover:

  • A review of salient points from early biology and chemistry courses
  • A review of anatomy and physiology classes
  • Skeletal and muscle systems
  • Cell biology
  • Much, much more....

This guide is meant to help you solve the questions that arise in your high school or entry-level university course. It is as comprehensive as it can be, to help you through your questions. (You will still need to use flash cards, diagrams, and other materials to help you learn the terminology that unfolds during your course.) Take the time to study all the terms outlined in the chapters and explore the information to help you learn the parts of the body. At the end of each chapter are test questions designed to keep the information fresh in your mind.

So awful

This is so many layers of horrible I don't even know where to start. The chapters aren't titled so you can't skip forward to the relevant chapter very easily. THE SOUND QUALITY IS SO BAD! This guys voice is somehow altered electronically and it is so difficult to listen to. I wish I didn't waste my money on this garbage.

Terrible rendition of a useful book

This is a good introduction to A&P but the reading is so dreadful it ruins it. It sounds as though it’s being read by a machine (although it isn’t) - the phrasing and pronunciation is so bad that in places you can’t really understand what’s being said. If I could return it I would. Don’t waste your money.

Very disappointing

What disappointed you about Anatomy and Physiology: The University Student Survival Guide to Ace Anatomy and Physiology?

The audio book is basic, which is fine, but the narrator is awful.
Technically is not very good either.

What will your next listen be?

Modern scholar series tend to be good.

How could the performance have been better?

I only got half way through and could not listen to any more.
