Still amazing

Can't get enough of the Talbot clan! The narrator is amazing with the voices. Especially BT.

Least fave of the series, but still good!

What made the experience of listening to Zombie Fallout 5 the most enjoyable?

The narration...it was good..lots of humor..but a dark tale...

What other book might you compare Zombie Fallout 5 to and why?

No comparison..this is a funny zombie series...lots of adventure and action!

What about Sean Runnette’s performance did you like?

He is a great narrator..very emotive and good with voices and scene setting!

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Omg the end with Paul and Mike...no spoilers, but it will break your heart!!!

Any additional comments?

Even thought this is the least fave of the series..it was well worth my time and credit...I am continuing..on to book 6...I love this series so much and am happy I found it...and am sooooo curious to see what happens next...I really hope Mike and his family are going to be ok!! I recommend this series very much!! 2 thumbs up!!

Still Captivated!!

Would you listen to Zombie Fallout 5 again? Why?

YES, I have fallen in love with each character and although this book seems to have ADHD I find myself pleased as each life unfolds.

If you’ve listened to books by Mark Tufo before, how does this one compare?

Mark's books are to short. Would love to get my monies worth in length. I seem to go through these in a couple of days.

Would you listen to another book narrated by Sean Runnette?

YES, love love love his transitions from character to character.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Absolutely, or at least a minimum of 20 hours.

Any additional comments?

I really would love to read Mark's next adventures. I really would love to me Mark Tufo. Mark will you be in Southern Cali anytime soon?

love it and hated it

great read, the end was not very good though, it seems that the author just wanted to end the series somehow. I mean really !!!! is this how it all ends? so frustrated

Wait for book 6

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

Although I'm a huge fan of Mark Tufo and this this book series, I'm extremely disappointed with Zombie Fallout 5. It felt like a rushed story with no substance and very little plot. There was a good two hours of flashback stories told that provided no benefit to the story and, frankly, felt like filler. I found myself fast forwarding through much of those portions which is a first. I hope Mark spends a little more time developing a good story for book 6 and doesn't let his publisher rush the process which I'm hoping was the reason this book fell flat.

Has Zombie Fallout 5 turned you off from other books in this genre?

No... Although book 5 was a complete waste of time with very little story, I'm still looking forward to the continuation of the story line. As long as it gets back on track. If book 6 is as empty as book 5, I probably won't go for book 7.

Which character – as performed by Sean Runnette – was your favorite?

Of course... Michael Talbot. His perfect sarcastic inflection is, as always, great.

Its alright, wish it was better though

He's trying to tone down the joke on every other line a bit, but sometimes there are extended relapses. Then there are the long flashback and other babble that have nothing to do with the story at hand.

Other than that not much different from the other books.

As usual, there are plenty of "what are they doing that!" moments and deaths are handled really weird by this author. That Brian, jeez! His incompetence was driving me nuts and the way it turned out, are you kidding me?!

Well, I'm still gonna read any other book in the series just because I love zombie books, but I actually don't think this author is really into the genre himself.

Too much of the same

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

The main character never seemed to grow until the last 25% of the book. The mantra never improved either. I wanted to enjoy this book because I enjoyed the previous books so much, however, it felt like Friday the 13th part 5....more of the same. It felt like the author rushed the book through.

Would you be willing to try another book from Mark Tufo? Why or why not?

Yes, because I enjoyed all Zombie Fallouts except this one. I finished it because I wanted closure on the series.

What three words best describe Sean Runnette’s voice?

Noreastern twang indeed!

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

I would but that means nothing regarding quality. I see ALL zombie movies.

Any additional comments?

Thanks for the ride!

Flashbacks and a big loss...

Many flashbacks in this book but all are enjoyable and relevant. I love the humour and Sean Runette delivers it well.

Mark Tufo and Sean Runnette = best audiobooks!

I’m so hooked on the Zombie Fallout series with Mark Tufo as the author and Sean Runnette as the narrator that I had to buy both the Lycan Fallout and Indian Hill series.
