Publisher's summary

A mysterious virus emerges after a meteor lands near a remote village in Peru. Authorities brought in to investigate discover the horrific virus not only kills, but it reanimates its victims, turning them into the walking dead.

In spite of the government believing they have contained the outbreak, samples of the contagion are brought to the United States via infected military and other victims. The virus breaks boundaries and the infection spreads initiating the ground invasion of the War against the Undead.

The war begins as the numbers of the undead increase and civil unrest begins.

The fate of the world hangs in the balance as it is not only man against the undead, but man against man.

Zombie Battle is a five-part series. This audiobook contains the entire series: Outbreak, Integration, Invasion, War, and Survive.

Slow Down!!!

What did you like best about Zombie Battle: Complete? What did you like least?

The book is good but the narrator needs to slow down about 15%-20%. Natural pauses are few and far between. I felt as though I was being left behind during the story.

What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)

Still 2 hours into it.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Andrew B. Wehrlen?

Sean Runnette! He's awesome!

Terrible!

Would you try another book from Jacqueline Druga and/or Andrew B. Wehrlen?

I dont think I would. A story even a novel needs details. This is a vague idea written without details in anyway shape or form. Its a novel full of stupid people doing stupid things. Not even just bad choices just stupid ones. Oh I am bite..forget it lets go see the president! Give me a break!

Outbreak

What I enjoyed about this book/books is that the majority of the story is the outbreak. A lot of zombie books skip over all that and go straight to the the zombies. This tells of how the virus came to be, the first people infected, how the infection spread, etc. I thoroughly enjoyed it! The narrator did a good job too. I will definitely be checking out more of Druga's books. It's refreshing to not be bombarded with "rape, pillage and plunder" in an apocalypse book!

Quite good and a bit different

Where does Zombie Battle: Complete rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Among the best.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Zombie Battle: Complete?

I thought the moment when the compound was overrun to be interesting.

Which scene was your favorite?

When the main character took a baby from a zombie that had been protecting it.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

No extreme reaction.

Any additional comments?

I like how the characters were developed, and liked the narrator. The jewish wife of the CDC director was done very well, and the way the main character stayed in love with his wife despite her infidelity was admirable.

It was ok! or maybe I just enjoy the thrill of a z

I got into this book when I found out which people were the main characters. One ended up listening to a lot of stories about people and there lives. Making you wonder, how they were going to escape the situation, thinking they must be one of the main people in the story, then they died. I was disappointed a few times.Overall I enjoyed this book .Even if it was just for the mills and boon ending.

Good Zombie Story

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I found myself caught up in the action and forgetting to go to bed. "Just one more chapter" then I'll go to bed. The characters were enjoyable. The narrator was awesome. He brought all the characters to life.

Terrible narration!!

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

Only if it was narrated by a different person!! His tone, inflection, and speed were consistently inconsistent with the context at many different points throughout the story. He will frequently add unnecessary pauses to sentences, which becomes quite annoying very early into the story. It's like listening to a Ford commercial. Top it all off with the narrator being an extremely loud breather, and you have the makings for a terrible audio book. I wish I had never bought it on audio, waste of money.

What could Jacqueline Druga have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

Used a different narrator!

How did the narrator detract from the book?

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

Disappointment... I wish there were more reviews available on the narrators themselves to know who to avoid.

Any additional comments?

A refund would be nice... I couldn't even finish the book...

I loved it and you will too!

I've listened to a ton of post-apoc books, some are so good I'll listen to them again and again and this is one I'm adding to that list. The action, depth of the characters, and unique take on the spread of the virus is why I love this series of books so much. Sarah Lyons Fleming and Jacquline Druga are my favorite authors for this genre. 100% worth every penny or credit!

Love! Love! Love!

I’m a spaz over dystopian apocalypse books and this is one of the better ones for sure! Great characters and storyline, and the narrator did a good job! Definitely recommend 👌

Good read

Love Irma’s motherly character. Pretty good how we get the initial first contact, and see how the virus spreads.
