Monotone reader discovers a tone variation

Did not get past the reading of table of contents plus 5min of first chapter.

I think the reader was criticized for being monotone, so he adopted one pattern of tone variation. I would take monotone over this.

Yesterday's Tomorrow

An interesting concept of what could happen if an EMP strikes the US. The book had a heavily military leaning, which I found distracting. Also the way that the story jumped from place to place & time to time detracted frtom the story.
